Read this on Superman Homepage (also on KryptonSite) If that's true, only 8 more episodes to go (Tonights episode 'Wrath' aired yesterday in Canada).
Did it go that downhill? I haven't seen an episode in years, was kinda waiting for it to end completely so I could Netflix the whole show over a few months.
In my opinion.. it's gotten to the point where the main story only gets addressed in the season premiere and season finale.. with smalllllllll sprinkles here and there of the main story... very very smalllllllll you'd have to look for it like this
Smallville should have died a long time ago. Sorry Smallville fans but it seriously reeks of failure right now.
Yeah. I've been really enjoying the past few episodes myself too. The Vandel Savage episode rocked. Although to be honest Clark and Lana's bedroom shockwave through out town really creeped me out.
I don't know, I'm kinda mixed on it. I thought last season was pretty cool, but I'm kinda 'meh' on this season.
Most of last season, and this season are just a chore for me to watch. The best season was 4 or 5. I can't remember off hand. Whichever one had Christopher Reeve appearing a few times. Honestly I think ever since they introduced Lois, it has been downhill. As hot as I think she is.
I stopped watching it shortly after Jonathan Kent died. The show became a bunch of DC fanwank - I wasn't watching the show as a DC fan, I was watching it as a SMALLVILLE fan - and became more about Lex and Lana than about Clark. From everything I've heard going on with the show in the past couple seasons, I haven't really missed much of anything either.
Last season was pretty not good...This season started off decent but last nights episode almost put me to sleep. I hate Lana.
You can also exchange any interaction between Lex and Lionel from any season and it would still fit into the episode. You can do the same with any Clark monologue where he questions whether or not he is truly human. They might as well be the same scene re looped for the past 7 seasons.
This is my biggest complaint in the series. It seems they are trying to do too much with this character. I find the stories that focus on her put me to sleep (last night's included). And didn't they do that powers switcheroo thing back in the Lois and Clark days?
Last night's episode was awesome because Spoiler Lana got super powers and her first thought was to have sex with Clark, and the activity resulted in minor earthquakes around Smallville.
This show is going downhill..... but there are some good moments. They need to kill off Lana, her character is dumb.
It's becuase even Tom hates Lana, the writers hate Lana,Micheal is growing tired of her,but WB/CW says she stays so she stays.
