Finally a good episode, given the time of the year I guess this season's nearly done

Although I find Clark was too naive, even for him.Jonathan spent most of the series teaching Clark NOT to use his strength on normal humans.Yet he easily believed his father wanted him to kill Lionel:rolleyes2

Now the truth's coming out about Lionel.I guarantee he'll probaly die stopping Brainiac in a form of self-sacrifice.

Do you guys think I'm off on this?

For some reason my DVR didn't record the first half hour of this episode. If someone could recap the first 30 minutes for me that'd be great!

    I'm sorry about that Cat:redface2:

If I recorded it I could easily tell you.But unfortunately I watched it & can't remember what happened in the 1st half

I can tell you that if you caught the last half, that's by far the most important part

    The first half mainly involved

    1)Clark and Martha seeing Jonathan
2)Lionel having one of his "spells"
3)Lana and Lex discussing Milton Fine & the spaceship

The main action didn't start till the 2nd half

I'm curious to know how they are going to play Lionel out with all this. I understand Lionel not knowing what's going on, but why doesn't Clark realize that Jor-el is channeling through Lionel.
I'm looking forward to the season finally, though something tells me this episode may be better.

I think most of the season was pretty good thusly, except for the filler episodes.

I definitely can get on board with you Shaun. I don't think Lionel will make it too long, he knows too much so I wouldn't think he would be a character to make it to the end. Jor-El may have to use him as a vessel to help Clark fight Zod, Braniac, and Lex....oh my.

Very much looking forward to next weeks finale!

Can we be 100% sure Jor-El's using Lionel as an avatar though?IIRC when Jor-El first used Lionel, his pupils didn't go white

Especially since NEARLY everyone who knows Clark's secret has a habbit of dying

1)Pete NEARLY died for knowing his secret
2)Alicia died and she knew his secret
3)Lana died when Clark told her;although that was retconed just as quick

The only exceptions are Lois and that Police Sargent. And that's because they had their memory of the past past stripped from their mind

Milton's planing on releasing a virus to erradicate humanity a.k.a. Genocide

Lex was suspicious of his intentions and mass produced a vaccine. How ever all but 1 vial got destroyed and Milton injected it into Lex rendering him resiliant to the Kyrtonian virus as well as granting him wahat seems to be enhanced healing

    wow

    season finale already?

what a very lack-luster way to end the season so far. this episode was the only one with a little bit of meat and now we find the next one is the last one??

like i said, very-lack luster compared to past seasons. But it was still a good ep. just seems like they coulda done a lot more these last few eps
