Not sure why, but The Fallen's backpack unit sort of bugged me. Anyway, after giving this figure a look, I figured out some small modifications that would improve him in both modes.

I haven't actually done any drilling yet, but here's a preview of what I want to do to his robot mode. By replacing the hinges on his back with a ball joint, it will make it possible to transform his tread kibble into a sort of cloak-like armoured mantle. I think it gives him a more imperious and menacing vibe, though you do sort of lose out on the flame deco (though maybe it looks cooler on the inside of the "cloak").

ooh, that's neat. although I personally like mine better with them the original way, since it makes it look like the flames are rising over his shoulders. but I like what you've done, nontheless.

the wobbly and weak fallen back is pretty annoying, but i figure i'll just find a way to tighten up those joints. looks cool though.

future floor finish, or you could use superglue, or even clear nail polish.

Well, at this point I haven't done the mod. This is just achieved by popping the treads off the hinges and flipping them upside down. It's pretty easy.

To make it a permanent change, I'll have to replace the hinge with a ball joint. I haven't done it yet, but it's not a hard mod.

The tank mode will look just the same, except I also plan on making peg holes further back on the turret for the cannons, so they cover up the rather obvious looking gaps in the sides of the turret. I think it looks better with the guns further back too.

Thanks man. Haha... my Prowl isn't finished yet. I did some major cutting and bashing on him, but I hit a small snag and haven't gotten back to him yet. At the moment, he's in many many pieces, but I do mean to finish him soon, especially now that I've seen that the "Recon Barricade" that's coming will only be molded in ugly gray plastic instead of the white I was hoping for.

If I didn't get the Fallen specifically for the flames, I'd do that myself. It works.

Personally, I thought his flames looked too cheap.
