I have 2008, and while somewhat cool, it doesn't really hold my interest like the old N64 games.

I have 2008 as well, and while it is cool I agree, I lost interest in it after about 3 days. Don't think I've played it since.

The problem with the Tony Hawk series is it lost what made the original 2 so damn good. They tried to "innovate" (I use the term very loosely) too much and it just lost the pick up and play fun that the first 2 had.

i heard the new "fighting styles" in 2008 isnt that great....so i wonder if they're going to rehaul it or try to improve it.

i still like the "Nintendo" style games (WWE Wrestlemania/Day of Reckoning) that they were doing over the "Playstation" (SD/SD vs RAW) and "XBox" (RAW)...sucks that all three has the same thing now...

I think it works pretty well actually. Gives the wrestlers more variety. Rey Mysterio for example, isn't virtually the same as say Randy Orton, with just different moves and finishers.

But man, Create a Finisher? 'Bout damn time. Hopefully it won't get nixed. They tried to do a "Create a Move" one year, but ended up scrapping it.

I'll believe it when I see it on my gmaing system.
They've said things like this in past Smackdown games only to find they took most of the stuff out by release.

"Create a finisher" is very relevant to my interests...

...if only I was still interested in wrestling. :|
