Massive Huge Update Page 3 Updates Page 2 Hi All. Here is my latest Custom Sludge the 2nd. This is a commission for a fellow Radicon so below are some sneakey photos. I have Kept the same style but really gone to work on the transformation. I have revisited the detail around the arms and have cast the legs to give it the much needed weight to keep him nicely on his feet. I aim to have this finished by the end of this month ready to ship provided that I am happy with the out come. More to Come in the next day or so All the best and thanks for looking. Arun
Nice job arun, Looking very accurate. You're moving fast on this. I am sure this will happen, but a little more sanding on the upper arms will make the casting perfect. Overall superb.
Update 2 Hi all Thanks for looking and yep still got loads of detail and sanding to do. I always like to get the main build done first to make sure all is working fine before the painstaking detail. Here are some more updates before the weekend. For people who did not follow the first build the one with the white head is the new item. I have made the Dino neck joint smaller so that it does don't stick up so high in robot mode. I have also made the Dino head a bit smaller to make it look more realistic. Hi buddy. not really but may look like it in the photo because i did not put it in the correct stance my bad. in real life the front legs would be further forward and the back would be further back. if that make sense?
Well after requsting a smaller tail here is the out come. i must say that it was a real pain but say that i must say that he was right and it does look a lot better. all the best and hope you like.
This customs got everything. Scale, proper proportion, detail... everything. Hell, you even made two. This is impressive at this stage so imagine when it's done.
without a doubt a MASTERPIECE! just two things that i think can make it even more outstanding, one, the neck to me seems to be a little bit too short, maybe adding an inch would make the neck more scale? dont know how much it would affect bot mode so idk. Second, the head seems very plane, literally plane. I imagine the head is still WIP right? but the neck i think could be longer just a little bit, like an inch maybe.
Hi and thanks to all of you who have commented and also PM'ed me about commissions. This item still needs some more time and yep the head is still WIP. I made the 1st a year ago and put it to one side till i was messaged just after Xmas asking to buy one. this item has come so far in the last 5 weeks! I myself will not be painting it and I must say I can't wait to see what it will look like when it is 100% done. I am starting the head later but looking for a good reference point image so if you have one please share. Many thanks Arun
Small update of the WIP head. I have added some l.e.d's aswell. Let me know what you think. Also forgot to remove the round part from the side of the photos that i later changed my mind about.
Another small update. i have added some detail to the wing parts and now im looking at starting the clean up.
