I am wondering why is it we never got a figure of Slipstream made? Does Hasbro think she will not sell well? There aren't many female Decepticons I know besides Blackaracnia. Do you think one will ever be made?

If you think about it, the only continuities in which Slipstream has appeared in are Animated and WFC. Animated ended too early for them to pump out the regular seekers, let alone make a remold befitting of Slipstream. WFC only had five figures, so they were limited to the main characters and a head swap.

Animated didn't last long. Even though it was awesome. And I sure don't hope they never made her because 'she's a girl, and collectors don't like girls.'

But I sure hope they do. I wish that Generations would return with more WFC chatacters. And she'd be in wave 1. Along with Starscream, Ratchet, and Warpath.

Guess we can always hope Slipstream pops up in Prime at some point.

After how badly Blackarachnia shelfwarmed, Slipstream wasn't going to happen.

Sometimes characters don't get made into toys because they are obscure-ish and have niche appeal, not because they are fembots.

OTOH, there's little other excuse for no G1 Arcee. :p

*insert joke about how she'd be running a little hot*

Seriously though, and while I get that transformers aren't exactly in the same boat as human figures, I still wouldn't be the least bit surprised to hear that being female had a negative impact on why she hasn't been made yet. I mean sure, most of the older fans wouldn't consider this to be a bad thing (heck, I even loved having Princess Liea as a kid), but it's not like little boys are seen as the greatest audience for female figures, and it's not like she was ever the Captain Janeway of Transformers either. Actually, the gender issue is the reason why Neph was never released from the Mummies Alive line while her male counterparts were, and why they're usually at least a 3-1 ratio between males & females on tv shows aimed at males. Again, I loved shit like Sailor Moon as a kid, but that wasn't exactly a common instance.

However on the positive note, customers are more than possible, and we can even make her as feminine as we like when doing so.

I have no attachment to this character whatsoever. That being said, I wouldn't nerdrage if they made a WFC Slipstream before any other characters.

I'd love to see a WFC Slipstream toy. Sounds very unlikely to happen though.
If they ever decide to release a figure, I hope is not a lazy repaint out of a male mold with a new head.

I hear that. That would be kind of weird. Well maybe someday they will.

I'm sorry, but before we got those two, we should have gotten a season 4. :)
Then we should have gotten as many new molds as possible.
