Uh, those are Japanese characters, so not a very high chance.

 

Yeah, I'm wondering if Starscream will be Slipstream's subordinate or if he'll still outrrank her by being Megatron's second-in-command.

Either way, I expect they'll have a very contentious relationship.

I also hope confirmation of the Seekers means we'll see Thundercracker and Skywarp as well.

 

Well if this is pandering to G1, I think I can sit back and put my feet up just as long at that Cyber Series toy line (Shockwave with no shocks) doesn't become the standard.

 

Well, all Cyberverse has to do is be better than Machinima. It can't be that hard. I hope!

 

Very nice to see. Slipstream ever since her introduction in Animated has always been a favorite of mine and so it\'s great to see her included in this series.

Though I will admit that it isn\'t exactly enough to get my hopes up for this since after Robots in Disguise 2015 was such a disappointment and with my personal preference being for Transformers media that\'s more mature? What we know and have seen of this series really doesn\'t spark any interest. I am willing to be proved wrong however.

Pandering eh? So if some of the main characters pay heavy homage to the original show or are pretty recognizable to the original versions, you call that pandering?

The Geewunner in me is annoyed that Starscream isn’t leader of the seekers, but the rationalist in me knows that Slipstream will be a better leader than Starscream ever was.

 

Hmm, interesting. I've always liked Slipstream's design, so I'll have to see what they do with her here. I wonder if she's replacing Starscream as the leader of the Seekers, or if she outranks Starscream?

 

I hope they make her look super attractive anime style

 

My guess is that Slipstream runs the seekers while Starscream is second in command, but chief engineer of backfires and bad ideas  

Still, this is what I dreamed for Slipstream since she was first introduced, even though Armada Scream will always have a special place in my heart.

I suppose this could also be a good sign that Slipstream might be present in IDW Phase 3, or whatever comes next.

 

Now that got my attention, I always liked her and we really need more female tfs, especially higher-ranked.

I got her Legends toy (I love the windblade mold), hopefully we'll get a good one in this line too.

Hoooo boy! Let's hope her Seeker team consists of all of these (and we get toys for them) -- Sunstorm, Hotlink, Bitstream, Nacelle:

And/or Acid Storm, Ion Storm, Nova Storm:

G2 Sandstorm could be a nice addition to this team too. Here's hoping some of these characters appear as 'new' Seekers.

 

I was looking at Toy Fair Video of Starscream the other day and I noticed on his Warrior figure how flat his legs are, so his legs are probably one piece no knees. So it's a easy pass on any generic Seeker Repaints of that mold.

Slipstream is 99% likely a repaint/retool cost recoup of Wingblade

 

Recorded episodes for Transformers: Cyberverse, as Slipstream, the female Decepticon in charge of the Seekers.

It’s the last part that is interesting. As well as confirming Slipstream will be in the show, it confirms that she has stepped up to lead the Seekers – as well as the more obvious reveal, we’re getting Seekers in Cyberverse! Slipstream being their leader rather than the role going to Starscream hints that while Cyberverse is generally going for the Generation 1 approach, the writers are also mixing things up, so it is not impossible that the Seekers this time out might sport a different lineup too (or be generics). It’s also nice to see some more female representation in the series, and who knows, perhaps we can get Strongarm or even a new female character added to the cast as it goes.

Of course she could also have been talking out of her ass.
Strongarm being in the show would be cool though.

 

Yeah, A Slipstream as a repaint of this Cyberverse Starscream would be alright... if it's not super simplified with, things like you said, no knees and whatnot.

I think she may work well again as a Windblade retool. I still really like the Generation retool (pics below) -- but I hope it's not going to be an overly simplified 3-way repaint of Starscream, Slipstream, and Windblade! Slipstream may work well as a repaint/retool of either one, but Starscream and Windblade should definitely remain their own thing. I hope I'm not giving some marketing suit a makes-sense really bad idea!
