this is truly awesome! i actually pushed aside the 2nd Power-Up Prime and the 4 other customs im currently working on just to squeeze this guy in... im working on him right now and should be done with it in no time.

thanks for sharing your great idea, and pics! makes the figure all the better, and helps differentiate it from Cliffy as well!!

Rumble619, could I request a pic? What about a clean shot of the back of the feet with everything folded up.

I just used super glue and then added some apoxie sculpt over the edges to help hold it into place.

The brass hinges also received some super glue to help tighten then up and keep them from swinging all over the place.

    Here you go

Never mind the magnet.I was actually going to try a different method when I stumbled across this way of doing it.Just left the magnet in.

Looks great! I did the door-behind-the-feet thing too, but didn't split the door. You should try to add the ball jointed ankles like I did so he can stand flat footed, pretty easy mod.

Overall your BB is very nice! I really like the hood mod too. great stuff

just a little note, i use those lil RC hinges on lots of figures.... if you take out the pin and replace it with a piece of a small paperclip, it is MUCH tighter than the pin that comes in the hinge

Out of curiosity, did you think about connecting the doors to the 'backpack'. I was looking at it and was wondering if it might be possible to get some kind of hinge, would have to be very small, connecting it that way. Kind of connecting just above the rear wheels. That would solve the cutting issue, but I'm not sure if it can be done. I was wondering if you tried and found it unworkable?

At first, I thought you were just doing a parts removal... but it's all integrated! Amazing! So simple, it almost makes me cry!

Wow very nice! What did you use to get such a fine cut in the doors. I think that was a great idea.
