FR's protectobots project inspired me to finally get this guy finished up. He's been mainly a time filler. I worked on him while stuff was drying on more involved projects. anyway, I fashioned cybertron thundercracker's head to fit on a ball joint, made some small adjustment's to the transformation and gave him swords. The pleasant surprise was that the little black connectors and/or "sword handles" required no modifications. they're standard bionicles parts. The blades themselves are just styrene.

    thanks for lookin' guys.

love the symbol in the middle of the tail. my only question is where does the engine go?? you rig it to hook on his back, so its not just lying around? (I hate having parts lying around that could get lost) excellent paint job WJ.

hmmm. engine? d'you mean the turnie part? the spinny thing?
here are some pictures that might clarify.

ok so the "engine" part folds behind his back. and in order for it to lay flat on his back I pull out the spinny thing "the part that holds all the blades" and drilled a hole for it underneath the "engine" part to hold it while in bot mode on it's back. :drunk  hope that covers it Red. :)

and thanks for the words guys.

ahh very nice, man! I figured you'd dealt with that. It seems we both view parts-forming in much the same light. thanks. :)
