does anyone have any suggestions on sleep? i'm in the middle of a wicked bout of insomnia, i'm tired, exhausted and crabby...even last night, after working my 2nd 14 hour day, i got home, was completely tired, went to bed around 10, got up at 720 this morning...still feel just completely out of it...not too long ago, i tried sleeping pills, and they seemed to help, but i really hate taking pills...

so, yeah, if anyone has any suggestions, i'm open to them...

Watch some porn and crank one (or two) out, that always helps me.

There are some foods that can one to sleep. For instance, if you can drink milk before bed, it is known to help one to fall sleep. Milk contains melatonin, a natural sleeping aid. Also, a nice warm bath or classical music helps me to fall asleep

    >_> <_< Me too.

But yeah, I've, too, had a lot of trouble sleeping throughout the last few years actually. Not constantly, just sets of days here and there. I've actually been thinking about getting some sleeping pills.

I've had trouble sleeping too. I fall asleep about 10PM but wake up around 5am. I want to get up about 6 or 6:30, but I constantly wake up around 5 or before. I guess I need to take some sleeping pills tonight.

You may try one of those 5 Hour Energy things. I tried one this morning. Not too bad. I was wicked tired, tried one and feel a good bit more energetic. Still worn out, but not as much. It does help a bit. No cure for little sleep, but it does help a bit.

4th vote for this. Studies have shown that a mans orgasm cause all, or a lot, of his muscles to relax at once. It's why some guys fall alseep right after sex. Also relieves stress.

Cut out booze and caffeine from your diet.
Wake up a bit earlier and include 20 minutes of exercise in the morning. Push ups, sit ups and light cardio.

You'll pass out at 10 and sleep like a baby.

i rarely drink as it is, and caffeine is almost never something i have...but waking up a bit earlier and exercising a bit might be a great idea...

and not that the porn idea is bad, just think ever night might wear me out, and my wife would be a little miffed...

Perhaps you can sell her the idea of having 1 sex a day so you can sleep like a baby every night.

You're what, in your 20's? 7 hours is more than enough.

Then alternate. When she's not the one making you tired. Take things in hand as it were....

yeah, 27...i really wish i could get done to 5 solid hours of sleep, but i'm not sure how to get there...but i know it can be done...my dad tends to only sleep a few hours a night, and be refreshed and awake...i've even heard there's ways to train your body on even less, but i'm not sure about that...

When ever I have trouble sleeping, I take a couple of benidryl. it tends to help me get to sleep and stay a sleep.

    get more exercise.

Keep a regular sleep schedule. There is no such thing as "catching up on sleep" changing your sleep schedule wreaks havoc with your inner clock. If you don't get your sleep thing worked out, expect prostate cancer later in life.
