I would like him showing up in animated sometime.
You sir, have inspired me.
I think Sky-Lynx would make an awesome character just for his unique design, even if he was just a cameo.
Skylinx could work but so can alot of characters
Oh great somebody more egoistical than Bumblebee.
Bumblebee isn't egotistical.
If anything he's insecure. Hence his humor and sattire nature is more of an inner fear that he's worthless, small and inferior to the others in his team. There's a good chance he cries at night, just because he wants to be useful, powerful, threatening to those that would see him dead.
Prowl? He's a cocky sum-bitch.
Okay if he gets a humanoid mode
Wouldn't that kinda defeat the novelty of Sky-Lynx? One of the cool things about him was that he had no humaniod form but was so educated and articulate unlike most of the other beast-bots.
A humanoid form in addition wouldn't be too bad, but if he did show up I'd like him to just use his animal and vehicle forms.
Animal forms seem to be a rarity in TF:A, though.
The allspark seems to default to giving whatever it blesses a humanoid robot mode, or else why didn't, say, soundwave turn into a bat?
The dinobots were based off of earth animals and are wholly mechanical, and I doubt that such altmodes would've originated on cybertron where everyone's, obviously, a vehicle.
The other animal-mode transformer, blackarachnia, is a horrible mutant. Maybe sky-linx could be a horrible mutant (like, a cheetah permanently fused in a horrifying way to a airbus), but he'd definitely have to have a robot form if made by the key, and he wouldn't lack a robot form if made on cybertron.
It'd be cool, but I agree with Legless Pete... beast modes seem to be a rarity among transformers... so much to the extent that Blackarachnia didn't want to go back to the Autobots, because she was afraid she'd become the next science experiment.
I'm willing to bet that Waspinator is one of the experiments that Blackarachnia & Meltdown create together in season two.
And the Dinobots were created on Earth based on Earth animals... with some Megatron incorporation's and some help from Sari, Bumblebee & Ratchet granting them life.
Of course, that's not to say that it couldn't happen, but the writers would have to give it some thought, because there's really no precedent for Transformers from Cybertron to have beast modes. I suppose that Sky Lynx could be some kind of experiment of Blackarachnia's, but that would probably give him a character revamp too... and I'm not sure I'd want him around if he wasn't the sophisticated and refined gentlemen (if not egotistical) that he was originally, because that was a big part of his character.
Who said Sky-Lynx had to be a product of the Allspark? He could just be a weird Transformer from Cybertron like in G1.
I'd love to have Skylynx in Animated. But first, lets put in some G1 season one characters, like Ironhide, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Blaster, and Trypticon. (Okay, Trypti wasn't in season one, but do you want to tell Mr. "I make godzilla my pet gecko" that? I didn't think so. Also, Trypticon is the Cloverfield moster.)
I'm all against the G1 season 3 characters to get included into Animated, with exception being Magnus. Unless they could gave those G1season 3 characters some new personalities. But still, despite that, I'm still against Skylynx. -_-
A new Sky Lynx in any form would be welcome.
I love my minty fresh re-issue, but my the old boy shows his age. New sculpting and modern levels of articulation would make for a fantastic toy.
I’m with you.
I don’t care to see Sky lynx in animated whatsoever and if we see Predaking before Devastator that would just be annoying to me.
Plenty more (and better) characters to bring in.
What about Wreck-Gar? Don't oppose a dude voiced by Weird Al!
Weird Al voiceover = insta buy
Sky Lynx? Maybe but we just NEED somebody with that personality.
Lots of hilarious moments!
Instead of SkyLynx, they should get Sideswipe and Sunstreaker into Animated.
