Okay, let's say nothing reactivated the Ark and Prime, Megs, and the rest remained pieces.

Considering the insects were already active and Skyfire landed years before, the entire Earth saga could have ended with just these four, presuming something awoke Sky.

So why all this flashback anyways?

Assuming something had awoken Skyfire and he was able to restore all of his memories and cognitive functions without Soundwave's assistance (yes, aside of digging him out of the ice, the Decepticons did quite a bit of work to Skyfire to get him back online.)

I'd assume his first instinct would be to get back home to Cybertron.

I say this because the events of "A Plague of Insecticons" make it seem (to me at least) that the Insecticons' tormenting the locals and feeding off the land was a more recent development and the episode happened after Skyfire had awoken and integrated himself with the Autobots.

Supposing though, that Skyfire reactivated after the Insecticons had begun their activities, I still don't think he'd have involved himself; since had disappeared on earth before the war began and didn't know Autobot from Decepticon to begin with.

Bah, still, I was upset to hear he was the first to land all those years ago (the insects launched when Megs cruiser separated from the Ark.)

Imagine, Skyfire, first Autobot and hero before and above Optimus Prime!

    I dont understand your question.

And it was never definitely stated that the Insecticons were "already active".

So the insects may have been activated after the Ark reactivated?

Skyfire is huge, powerful, and awesome, so he'd've been able to defeat the Insecticons pretty easily.

We werent given enough info to adequately answer that question.

If that were the case why did the 3 pretty much kick his as$ in "Fire in the sky"?

I love Skyfire, but he's no real warrior at first. Not until Ultimate Doom, when he lit up those seekers on Cybertron in both bot and alt modes. I always figured he had a little time to brush up on his fighting skills after "Fire on the mountain".

Nah. Kickback or Shrapnel would have damaged Skyfire real bad, and Bombshell would have made a slave of him. End of Earth.

:lolol  Plus they have a zillion clones. As much as I love Skyfire, I would say insecticons would win. I'd rather Sky won though.

Yeah, Insecticons would win with numbers. Plus, all Bombshell would have to do is inject a cerebro-shell and its over.

Well, I mean he could fly back to Cybertron and come back with Omega Supreme and a bunch of season two Autobots. I wonder who out of the season two Autobots would lead? Or would Skyfire lead the Autobots himself?
