so KA inspired me to dig out one last toyline from my mom's attic last weekend. I think the toyline bombed pretty bad, but it had a neat idea: futuristic vehicles that traversed cables and webbing you would set up in your room. unfortunately, most of the buckles broke in the bag I kept them in over the past 20 years. here's what's left though, and I think that the toys are mostly complete:

ooh, ooh, i had the one with the blue tape thingie, the one with suspended cannons and the little guy with the big hook at his back.

i so wanted the guy with the personal elevator :(

cool stuff! i liked the aesthetics of the line and the gimmick. decent cartoon too.

too bad you cant prop em up what with the broken hooks :(

well if I took some time with it, I probably could, but I was only visiting for a couple of days, and had much more important things to do. what you don't see is that off to the side were like 6 sets of the cables with one part or another broken. I'm sure I could frankenstein some of them together.

I was interested in the toys but it was never shown in my country...there were rumors that the authorities were worried that kids may actually start climbing the many flats that Singapore has...serious...but I do find the toys awesome. I love the gimmicks!

As I remember it, the cartoon was pretty kickass as well!

I had a few of the toys, never enough to make my room all criss-crossed w/ cables though :(

I remember them, they were just on the cables weren't they? Not the ones that span around and got lost on roofs?

I actually remember the cartoon, and I was always confused as to why everywhere was lava.

off hand i believe it was because they were explorer of this new unstable continent fighting for dominance. defenders of the high frontier!

reposting my comment from the starcom haul thread:

"used to have the winged one that stucks to wall corners and the main bad guy fighter and a couple'a the small ones.

i even built lego versions, and had clothlines strung all around my room which drove my mum crazy. you had to bite the pieces of the lego to make sure theyre tight tho, since theyd sometime get loose and crash into pieces on the bedroom floor."

I used to have those things all over my room when I was a kid. They're probably up in my parents attic still.
