My job is a joke- I drew this today.

I don't really have any attachment to He-man, but I've always loved Skeletor

Not too shabby! What is it you do for work, it would be nice if I had time to draw stuff like that while I was a t work, and I work as a Technical Illustrator, lol!

Awesome I wish you liked He-man better. Would've loved to see your vision of him.

I really like this. I think it's a very interesting take on ol' skull face :)

    That's damn quality!

I used to scribble in the free time at my work too but I don't think I ever produced anything as cool as that.

I agree about the attachment, I always wanted Skeletor to kick He-man's ass. This version of him looks especially wicked and i like the ridged sword he's got. It almost looks like he's missing his jaw, which makes him look cooler in my book.

Not sure how I feel about this piece on a personal opinion level, but I applaud your originality in making Skeletor much more inhuman, animalistic, and unnatural. The drawing itself is also well done in terms of proportion, perspective, shading, etc. in a way that's more realistic than you usually see he-man characters.

I really like the sword and the staff, the armspikes and the sewn-up part of his chest, not sold on the harnass and feet though. I get that the idea is to move away from recognizable animal pieces and organic stuff that we have on earth, but maybe some zoological anatomy study would make it even better? Like, I'm trying to figure what part of an animal the bandolier/harnass would come from (and what role it would play in that animal's body), and Skeletor's feet seem reversed, if he's going to run like a normal animal. Also, what's going on with Skeletor's belly? He either has an inhuman muscle group running between his abs, or his abs are much narrower than on a human, and it sort of looks like he has three belly buttons.

It's not human anatomy up at front. It's supposed to kinda look like a spine.

That makes a lot more sense then. I thought maybe with the face the way it was and the "stitching" at the top of the torso, that he was actually a non-human shape, sewn into a human skin, resulting in lumps and mishapen areas. I thought that was pretty cool.

with the worlds most spikey pair of tidey wideys.

I honestly don't know where I got the idea to wrap somebody's gums around him, but I just kinda ran with it.
