Commission for a friend (if you're still waiting for a commission, I haven't forgot you - it's just that my schedule is full until the end of the year -_-u)

I hate to draw excessive detail in TFs (wich became an "industry standard" after DW), and I always loved the way the animators and directors at Toei Doga used to pencil TFs: sharp, clean, straight and simple pencil strokes.

The lines in this one are all sloppy because I haven't cleaned up the drawing, but you 'll get the point (I hope :p )

Detailed or simple, your art is still one of the best. :thumb

Outstanding and imposing at the same time. However you draw a TF man, they're always the best around. :rock

Sometimes simple is effective and it really works well here. You don't need tons of details to tell a story :)

QFT. It's more about dynamics, proportions, and posing. And you are a master at all three.

That IS Sixshot, Macraptron. And yes, unfortunately, oversaturating crap art with details has become the norm. Just take a look at the game industry.

Will you go back and animate the entire G1 series for me? How much would that cost you think?

    :D

    Awesome work per usual

This probably sounds like a stoopid question but what do you mean by cleaning it up? The process I mean. It doesn't sound very exciting if we're on the same page.

And I don't really mind "over-detailed" pics if they're coloured well otherwise they just look too busy. Some of Prowler's stuff is a good example.

    Oh and nice work BTW.
