Here is how Sixbuilder is coming along!

I currently only have 4 bots i am using of the six:

Crush-bull has been painted. He is a Movie Grindcore with a modded head.

Mixing is currently part Smokescreen part barricade. I need to know what mixing barrel is best for him.

Treader has an alternated bot mode again.

Gran-arm will be made from Crossovers Wolverine

    UPDATE 3/13/09
Here are two mock-ups for the current combined mode. Vote on which one should i do please!

Need help from those who made DEVASTATORS- what kind of mixing barrel did you use? and how did you attach it to Energon Barricade?

From what I've read, they've all used different cheap plastic toys meant for children that they either found at walmart or a dollar/discount store. As for attaching, honestly not sure about that. Probably custom made attachment point. Maybe using bionicle or neoshifters pieces?

I like the dark green paint job you chose for grindcore. It looks like you're painting them while still assembled right? Consider trying to disassemble at least one of them to paint. Not only does it make it easier to paint, but you get better coverage of those hard to reach spots. It's how 95% of the customizers here paint theirs. Also you can worry less about paint drippage from one part onto another.

This. It makes such a huge difference. Yea, it's an extra step and you have to keep track of small parts, screws, and springs, but it's well worth it.

DW3: You should look through the Devastator threads. Ask Ptitvite or F_R about it.

Will pick up a mixing truck for mixing.

That leaves the last two. Anybody have a front end shovel and crane?

Okay, I didn't answer the poll because I thought it best to explain..

So if bonecrusher there is the lower torso, it depends on how much higher hook will be, and whether or not you leave bonecrusher's lower legs as a connection point. It looks like the additional leg piece will make his legs too long, and throw off his proportions. But that really depends on how long his torso is going to be. In that case I would say try them as a way to attach the arms to the body.

If you want to keep his portions looking correct, find a picture of him that you like (preferably front view) and compare it to a picture of yours as you go along, the proportions (length of legs compare to torso and arms, how far down the arms come on him, etc.) should be similar.

Well the original plan was to get the knock-off optimal optimus, but i had knock-off galvatron lying around, so that is why i used him
