I believe that Silverbolt is the working name for Sentinel Prime. I say this based on James Avery voicing the character, as SP deserves a powerful sound that can match or possibly exceed that of Optimus. (Reminds me of James Earl Jones voicing Darth Vader in Star Wars.)

I am very excited about seeing Silverbolt! Bay had better make him afraid of heights and still extremely cool... OR ELSE

 

I hope the shuttle is someone else. Silverbolt should be smaller so he can duke it out with Starscream. I can imagine them shooting missiles at each other while in airplane mode, transforming midflight and boosting at each other, firing machine guns and clashing in midair, with various blade weapons being swung around. A seemless combination of aerial dodging and fighting tactics devloped on Earth and Cybertron alike.

 

Has there EVER been any mention of Cosmos in all of this DOTM talk?? Just hit me yesterday when all the speculation over who this bot ship could be, who that one could be, maybe Cosmos could enter the picture here somewhere. He was all alone out there in space in G1 days anyway. He's been lonely and doesn't get much attention..so maybe it's time. Poor little guy

i think were going to be suprised by silverbolt i swear that chopper/tank thingy in the new pic of toys is ether silverbolt or springer. and im thinking hes gonna be atriple changer.



to me thats not a normal chopper that is a beast of a triple changer.(top left corner)

 

I said it once already, I really hope his head is inspired by the Shredder's helmet

 

We heard about him before they announced anything else. If he's even still in the movie, he's likely been renamed something else.

 

That's actually... an interesting thought. Could it be...?

 

I don't know if I've posted about this topic yet but oh well. Yes, I'm excited about seeing how Silverbolt looks and acts in the movie. But I would ATLEAST like Air Raid (my second favorite Autobot in WFC) to make an appearance, even if just a cameo or something.

Concerning the pic posted above, like someone else said, there's a possibility that the helicopter is Soundwave's earth mode (if he gets one). As for Silverbolt, I'm guessing he's the space shuttle.

 

Silverbolt was one of my favorites from G1. I am anxious to see and hear more about him for DOTM.

 

It's not soundwave. We know from leaked listings that's it's an autobot.
