Which part of video games do you like to play more? While I do play multiplayer more often, I believe there is nothing like a good campaign mode. It allows you to do much bigger things and you have an opportunity to do many things you couldn't do in multiplayer. If a game's story is engaging enough, it could be the highlight of the entire game. That is why Uncharted 2 is my favorite game of all time.

Co-Op Campaigns. Take a good campaign, then add the ability to play with a buddy. 9 times out of 10 you have vastly improved it.

By co-op I do mean with a friend, as playing co-op with randoms is about as fun as putting your nuts in a grinder as you will inevitably get the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet for teammates.

Singleplayer. Actual plot and you can play at your own pace. Plus you can cheat all you want!

Multiplayer's always the same way-too-good players using the same cheesy tactics on the same damn map over and over and over.

Depends. It honestly depends what mood I'm in.

But if I could say it now, I'd vote Spartan Ops.

Co-op owns both, but I'll settle for single player. A good campaign experience sticks with me, but a random match in some FPS is quickly forgotten, no matter hire epic it was at the time.

Single player. I don't care for multiplayer game modes.

It comes down to what type of game it is.

If it is a Zelda type of game then I want to play by myself, lights out and embracing the magic.

If it is stuff like BF, CoD, Diablo3, etc etc then multiplayer can be fun.

    Spartan Ops.

That's a Campaign with co-op elements. Its like Firefight with a story, and characters.

However if I had to pick between the two, I'd pick Campaign.

The games I'm interested in playing MP keep shutting the servers down by the time I get around to putting the disc in the console.

I'm a single player gamer, even my multiplayer gaming is against bots only.

You will never get the engaging story experience or feeling of heroism that you do when playing a single player campaign. You will never get the intense feelings of action, terror, and even frustration that you will playing against something self-aware that can out-think and out-play you on a level field.

Single player for campaign. Co-op only of it's a real life friend, and you have good means of communication.

I confess that I don't understand the OP. I prefer multiplayer when I can get it -even in the campaign. I love playing games with my friends and have had some of my best memories of this generation playing games with a combination of family, real friends, and cyber friends.

I was disappointed with Fall of Cybertron's lack of co-op in the campaign mode, but the changes made to Escalation ensure I'll be playing cooperatively with my friends in that mode.

Single Player is a very important factor in my eyes.
Multiplayer is nothing more then a add on.

Multiplayer is where I get the most value out of the game. Sure there's good single player, but when you beat it after a few hours, there's nothing to do. The games I play the most have good multiplayer. I enjoy co-op modes also.

    ^This.

Playing War For Cybertron's co-op campaign with a couple of friends was one of the best videogame experiences I've had in quite awhile. And is why I'm throroughly disgusted with HMS for dropping it in Fall of Cybertron. Pretty much killed any and all incentive for me to get it on release.

Multi-player for me. But I'm no team player and I'm a very competitive one so in FPS's I'm strictly free-for all. I just mute everyone, switch my profile to offline and get cracking. Arkham City and Arkham Asylum, pretty much the same, I specialise in the combat challenges (X-Box live ID Ovalord Of Evil).

I generally don't care much for the Campaigns/Story unless I'm playing an RPG like Zelda or they're vital in unlocking stuff in the games, like for example the Batman games where you unlock weapons and challenges as a result of your progress.
