The first initial five (Dr.No,From Russia With Love,Goldfinger,Thunderball, and You Only Live Twice) are awesome.

Never watched the whole of On Her Majest's Secret Service or the Moore or the Dalton ones or Diamonds Are Forever or Never Say Never Again.

Now for the Brosnan ones. I rank them like this
    1. GoldenEye
    2. World Is Not Enough
    3. Tomorrow Never Dies
    4. Die Another Day

I liked Casino Royale- It was the first Bond movie I saw in theaters.

However, i have mixed feelings about Quantum of Solace.

I'll take shit for this, but I stand by my conviction that Roger Moore is by far the coolest Bond, and I can't help but love The Spy Who Loved Me and Live and Let Die. And I know it is the cool thing to say "Connery is teh best! Trukk not munky!"

Although I am totally pro-Craig, and was more than happy at how Casino Royale turned out. And even though Pierce Brosnan was the Bond of 'my generation', I probably like those movies the least. I even like Lazenby better than Brosnan.

And BTW, when I started doing a Roger Moore/Captain Kirk hybrid thing around women, the amount of high-class booty I got shot up by about 200%. Seriously.

Gotta go with Connery. I enjoyed Brosnan as Bond though -- even when he was on "Remington Steele" I thought he would make a great Bond. And we would've had him as Bond a lot sooner were it not for his contract on "Steele", so we got Timothy Dalton (aka the crappiest Bond) instead.

"Casino Royale" was a great action/spy flick, but it just didn't feel like a Bond movie to me. Guess I'm just a traditionalist when it comes to the Bond flicks so I have certain expectations of them. But it was certainly a bolder and edgier Bond for a new generation and it was an entertaining film.

I still haven't seen "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" although it's on my Netflix queue.

I don't necessarily have a "favorite" Bond movie -- it's whichever one I'm watching at the moment, but when I'm watching the DVDs I tend to skip through and just watch the action scenes.

And I kinda like the Roger Moore Bond films too -- I just don't like him as much as Connery.

I just now finally got around to playing "From Russia With Love" for my original XBOX --it's been pretty fun so far, and especially enjoyable with Connery reprising his role as Bond.

I'm a big fan of the Bond series - have been for years. These are my favorites in approximate order:

    Licence to Kill
    On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    For Your Eyes Only
    Thunderball
    Goldeneye
    You Only Live Twice
    The Spy Who Loved Me
    Casino Royale

    Licence to Kill
    The Living Daylights
    A View to A Kill
    OHMSS
    Tomorrow Never Dies
    Live and Let Die
    Goldfinger
    The Spy Who Loved Me
    You Only Live Twice
    The World is Not Enough

Dalton was my first and therefore my fave.

Mixed feelings about Casino Royale, very true to Fleming's book, but the movie juts didn't feel like Bond, not enough humor to balance it out. And give Craig some black hair dye please, is that too much to ask?

I doubt that will happen since Craig refused to do it.
So we got to tolerate a blond Bond like a a blond Bruce Wayne about 11 years ago.
You know, before, he became the Dark Knight, I always thought Christian Bale would do a good Bond.
Any word on any channel playing a Bond marathon? They usally do before a Bond film hits theaters. Or was the mini-Bondathon last weekend on Spike the only one this time around?

    Connery's original 5, Dalton's 2, Goldeneye and Casino Royale.

Everything else needs to go on a bonfire.

Oh well. He's a good actor though. I'm surprised and pleased they got away with the carpet beater torture scene from the novel.

If you mean Keaton, I always though he was a brunette not blonde, not black hair, like Batman should be, but close enough, of course back then before TAS, I didn't know much about Batman and was surprised when the millionaire guy turned out to be Batman's secret identity :)
so I didn't care much anyway at the time. And yeah, Bale rocks!

For anyone who gets Comcast/On Demand they have all the 007 movies for rental this month and some free documentaries like on the 007 girls.

I haven't seen too many of 'em but I liked:

    Goldfinger
Tomorow Never Dies (Currently my favorite, backseat driver in an enemy jet FTW!)
    Die Another Day
    Casino Royale

The movies with the german guy trying to destroy Silicon Valley and some other one involving some redicuously perched-on-a-hill medevial fortress and some British computer full of secrets weren't as good, honestly.

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a James Bond flick.

Nothing against them, and I really should sit down and watch some of them one of these days, but the whole thing just never really appealed to me.

Anyway, this is how I rank the Bonds

    1. Sean Connery

    2. Daniel Craig

    3. Pierce Brosnan

    4. Tim Dalton

    5. Roger Moore

    6. George Lazenby

Honestly, I've never really been a fan of any Bond film until Daniel Craig and Casino Royale. I don't know what it is, but none of them have ever really clicked with me.

I'm gonna cop crap for this, but I think 'From Russia with Love' is terrible.

"We will settle this, the Gypsy way!"

    WHAT THE HELL?!!?

    Anyhoo...

    Goldeneye (Trevelyan= best Bond villian)

    Licence to Kill

On her Majesty's Secret Service (That ending brings tears every time)

Goldfinger (Mostly pants, but it doesn't ramble like most Bond films, plus Bond saves the day by raping Pussy)

Casino Royale (Too damned long. Why was there the chase scene at the beginning? WHY?!?)

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...
