How are the Non-Transformers titles that Simon Furman has written?

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

I've been think about checking out Death's Head or Robocop eventually.

I read his Starcraft comic... I'm sorry, but it wasn't his best work. Worth reading if you're REALLY into Starcraft though, I guess.

Besides Transformers. he mostly works on obscure titles, and has hardly done any comics for DC.

He did a bunch of stuff for Marvel UK back in the day.

IIRC back in the 80's he wrote some Thundercats stories as well as TF and Deaths Head.

Particular note was Dragons Claws, which I thought was very good. Pretty much the entire run (11 issues I think) was drawn by Geoff Senior, one of my favourite artists.

Yeah, his Wikipedia page has a good Bibliography there. I saw Thundercats listed, so might check those issues out.

If Dragon Claw has Simon Furman + Geoff Senior, I am sold. I will definitely check that out. Thanks!

Well he created the character (together with Geoff Senior) so it is only natural he also wrote it :)

Thanks everyone. I found some Death's Head and Robocop stuff. I can't find Dragon's Claws anywhere yet, though.

I don't know if it was even released in the US, it was one of those Marvel UK ventures back in the early (or was it mid) nineties?

Luckily I have the entire run. When I was poking through some comic bins in a closing down sale I spotted a load of Marvel UK stuff, 20p each or something, and picked up all the Dragons Claws (full run), Deaths Head (full run), Death Head 2 (almost full run), Excalibur (a lot, but nowhere near all of them), Hells/Dark Angel stuff (full run I think) I could find.

    That was a good day.

I should note before the op gets the wrong idea, that Furman did not write Death's Head II, and doesn't care for it to say the least.

    Seriously nice finds, though.
