Yeah - Devastation looks to be awesome.
Though it's more "teasers" than "spoilers" - he tries to give away very little.
I seriously hope he is referring to Grimlock and not Unicron.
I've had enough Unicron for a long time.
Yeah we have really over played the Unicron thing!!!
Don't worry Unicron will out be in this series
Dunno how I missed his thing on The Ascending #4 further down the page. Deaths of G2 proportions? I don't like those odds.
Devastation sounds... like something. Something that is.
That's about what most of those spoilers sounded like. Whatever Sixshot does, it's certainly going to hurt.
Awesome, I like the sound of this. I think that Spotlight has to be Grimlock, he's been alluded to already with these Machination guys digging up Shockwave and the like. Hopefully if it is him we'll get some more detail on the whole past between Shockwave and the Dynobots.
Devastation and the IDW arc is really shaping up, I get the feeling #6 is where it all breaks loose.
Not really spoilers, but definitely mouth waterers..
I like what I hear, but I've always hated the Reapers. I wished that Sixshot's spotlight would be the last time we had to see this. Its like enjoying the X-Men series only to hear that Halle Berry is getting even MORE screentime next time.
I'm more convinced than ever that Sixshot is gonna end up fighting Kup now. and MAN it's gonna be a throwdown! as for the Spotlight...of course it's Grimlock.
"Furman to write coherent narrative!"
That's the spoiler I'm waiting for.
The deaths in BW are pointless ones. The characters will only really be known in their profiles, and we'll probably end up getting attached to them AFTER they die. That sucks. Hopefully the CR chamber can bring popular ones back. In G2 it was horrific because we KNEW most of those characters.
Everyone is entitled to his opinion, but comments like that really surprise me.
IDW's current story is absolutely the best Transformers comics stories ever.
(Of course, that's my opinion )
And the art has been fantastic.
(Shields eyes from Spotlight: Nightbeat)
Man, that Nightbeat Spotlight was the one I looked most forward to, and the art was so inconsistent and just... bad. I wish they had hooked Geoff Senior to do it, because I liked the story...
Excellent. Can't wait for more Furman, especially Beast Wars profile books!
Im very excited about these books....looks like sixshot is going to finally get some attention in the states! I wonder who will die in the beast wars books(crosses fingers not lio convoy!)
I think the G1 death that got me the most was HotSpot (Protectobot leader).
It might have been in G2 though.
The Autobots were working with G.I. Joe and Hot Spot ended up holding off a legion of Cobra Hiss tanks.
The Protectobots were so late in the series they didn't get as much characterization as the Aerialbots and when the Technobots came out they had the OMG/WTF factor going for them. (because the cartoon actually came out before the toys, so half of us in school were burning out our VHS tapes just trying to figure out what they WERE)
So when HotSpot went out (like a mini-optimus) I got this feeling of "Damn, I hardly knew ye""
(This is also why I consider RID Optimus to be "Fire Convoy" who is Protectobot HotSpot with the Matix)
Correction: HotSpot, who was alone and mortally wounded, self destructed to prevent his "remains" falling into the hands of Cobra, therefor giving them acess to Cybertronian technology.
That was probably one of the best written reasons for sepiku in comics at that point.
