hmm.... what about the wingtips? patch them with styrene too, or you want them to be different so leave them broken?

Actually, SW, I recommend not reprolabeling it. I built a solid black seeker by swapping parts from a reissue Thundercracker and Skywarp and I have no stickers on it except for two Decepticon wing symbols.

I think he looks just fine with that solid black paintjob. Much more imposing, I think.

Very cool. I've wanted to get some spare seekers and repaint them, but I'm sure I'd ruin it.

Nah man they were intact when i got them, i cut them out so he would be more unique.
He is a long range Decepticon bomber.

Thanks, i was thinking of that. I'll order in a Seeker set just so i can get the eyes and the wing stickers.

I'd like to see pics of the black jet as well as his blue and purple counterpart.

I gots me a Universe entry for ya.
It's not quite the standard 'black nemesis repaint'...

    ---
    Decepticon: BURNUP

    Function: Tail-end Charlie

    "Statistic improbability is not impossibility."

Lots upon lots of Decepticon jets have been produced, all to practically identical specifications, and normally fairly equal in performance. Exceptions to this, though rare, can nevertheless be found. BURNUP is one of these unique individuals -- alas, he is uniquely slow.

No reason has ever been found for this. Time after time he has tried to bolster his low speed, all to no avail. Greatly outpaced by even the next slowest Skyraider, he lags far behind the formation, easy prey to Autobot gunners. His miserable existence is almost an inspiration to his only friend, the Stunticon Breakdown, who can almost consider himself lucky by comparison.

And yet, BURNUP is blessed (or cursed) with one of the most indomitable spirits and highest endurances in the DECEPTICON ranks. Time and again he renews and polishes his striking silver-and-light blue paintjob, only to have it burnt black by incendiary fire before he limps home, hours after his teammates, and ready to do the same tomorrow.

EDIT: Hmm, I see you already named him Silent Night...oops.

    Wow man......
    nice Bio!

When i get home i think i'll put on Skywarps wings just to see how stickers will go.
Then i'll order the reprolabels, but i will make another set of wings for him incase i don't like it.
