Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.

Written and directed by Michael J. Bassett, and produced by Samuel Hadida, SILENT HILL: REVELATION 3D is based on the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and a sequel to the horror film Silent Hill, which is an adaptation of the video game of the same name.

Starring Adelaide Clemens, Sean Bean, Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”), Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Ann Moss, Malcolm McDowell, Martin Donovan, Heather Marks.

    Release Date: October 2012.

The preview I saw at comic con looked interesting, they said they only had 1 or two PG13 scenes they could show, the rest were solid R.

Very cool. This is what they have should have done with the Resident Evil movies! Silent Hill was perfect.

The first Silent Hill is the best Videogame/movie translation we've ever had or will have. I hope this one lives up to that.

    Wait, whoa whoa whoa...
Sean Bean was the father in the first movie and had a different name than Mason. Are they out of nowhere saying that he suddenly has an 18 year old daughter? Or are they pretty much pretending his character didn't exist from the first one?

No that's not what is being said Spoiler I think what is going on is this...

Jodelle Ferland as Sharon Da Silva / Alessa Gillespie / The Dark One = Adelaide Clemens as Heather Mason / The Child of The Dark One

I think my confusion sets in at:
Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean). Because the way it is worded, is like he is Heathers father. I see on Yahoo, that he is still listed under his character from the first one.

I'm excited. Besides the fact that I love the Silent Hill franchise (im in the middle of Downpour now) the first movie was actually a pretty decent horror flick and homage to the first game. I hope they use music from the game again.
