Anyone heard of this new virus? Apparantly you can catch it through general websurfing and it records login information to sites like ebay, paypal and online banks. It can also co-opt money transfers and things redirecting it to whoever runs it while still leaving you thinking the transfer went normally.

So anyone know what anti virus program has solid protection against this? Apparantly free AVG does not, but I dont know that for sure

New viruses that AVG doesn't catch are always fun.

They need to have an identity thief who pays your bills instead of makes more debt. That would be awesome.

I was told AVG does detect it. They have it classified as PSW.Agent.RCS instead of Silentbanker.

Well, I'm running AVG now... I'll see if either of those come up. I really hope they don't, though.

Ah that's good, I hope AVG does spot it. I just read that on some random forum that AVG didnt catch it, so it wasn't official. I miss the old scams where people just send out e-mails that ask you to log into your secure account with typos everywhere and links to pages like www.shadytricks.com/paypal or african millionaires needin help outta the country. This craps too tricky
