Had an extra Shipwreck body and Duke head which I decided to make into Cutter. Yes, I know, obscure character to use but I had no ideas of who else to make. Gonna be giving him Shockwave's cap, Shipwreck's gun, and a gun from S6 Firefly. Dunno how I'm gonna get around the orange life jacket.

Painted his lower arms and lower legs. Also scraped off the tattoos with a razor.

I'd suggest either using Duke v1's jacket painted orange, or Stone's Cobra disguise chest armor painted orange could work and you could cut it to open like a jacket. Or maybe use Gung Ho's chest padding painted orange. Spirit Temple Tracker's vest is also an option.

The actually sell 1:6 scale life vest in that style for the Dragon figures. Check on eBay and I'm sure you'll find some. Could pick up a belt with that low style thy holster too.

    Update!

Pretty much done with the painting on the actual figure. Need to go over it with a final coat of varnish. Also need to paint the Shipwreck belt I'm gonna give him, somehow put the Boston Red Sox logo on his cap, and find an orange lifejacket for him. So yeah, this might take a while to finish.

    What about the mustache?

You could always print out a small red sox logo and glue it to the hat.

Crap. I completely forgot about the 'stache. :(

Hmmm. Maybe I'll just call him clean shaven Cutter? :lol

I tried it on another figure and it didn't work. So I gave him a 5:00 shadow instead.

It is a nice idea and everything but to me the guy looks a bit short in the legs, it may just be me but he looks outta whack.

What color did you use to cover up the tattoos?

I didn't paint over it. I used a razor and scraped off the tattoos. It was very painstaking. :(

    Update!

Painted the hair, eyebrows, eyes, and gave him a 'stache. Also painted his belt and put on the final coat of varnish. Now all I am missing is the Boston Red Sox logo and a lifejacket. Both of which are a pain. :cry :

That's turned out great so far, good luck finishing! Glad to see you did a character that's not overly common

Definitely. I try to do the figures less traveled. More of a guarantee that Hasbro won't make one. :D

    Update!

Put the accessories on him. Now I just need a Red Sox logo to put on the hat and find me a lifejacket that fits.
