Sweet, I think i'll buy him tommorow. Nothing better than an evil double-cross...

(P.S. I don't know for sure if he's a double-cross, but the first few episodes of season 2 sure are alluding to it...)

I havent watched the series and I dont know anything about it, I was basically just inspired to buy the figure after seeing Walky praise Sigma 6 Destro, and then looking at this review. Incidentally, that review rather strongly suggests that Firefly is going to be a double-crosser, but this had little relevance to me. I merely thought "Firefly was my favorite RAH character, his new figure looks cool even though it's totally different, so I'll give it a shot." And then after playing Metal Gear Solid 3 I decided it would be a good idea to do a bunch of outdoor field tests with him.

edit - can you link to the Cobra Firefly? I'm interested to see how it compares to this one

S6 Firefly is excellent. With the mask of course.
Like this line more and more with every figure. Too bad it's usually the people that never held one of these who are usually bashing them. All cool tho.
Been a HUGE 3 3/4 fan for over 20 years, but these big dudes are too much fun.

Finally caved on that Sigma Strike Duke and whoa

Today I joined the ranks of Firefly owners. I can't wait for his evil counterpart to come out so I can pose them together like a mirrored reflection. :ev:

Why are you opposed to it? It's a sweet line.

call me a purist, GIJoe's are supposed to be 3 3/4" tall. Granted the very old ones are 12' dolls but still.

Besides the Sigma 6 are too anime looking to be proper GIJoes.

I can't believe anyone looked at Firefly's face and mask and thought he was ever going to be anything buy a villain.

I remember when the purists were those that said Joes were 12 inch dolls your could dress up, not 3 3/4" Star Wars wannabes.

The time of the 3.75" figure is done for now. Other than Star Wars, which has a huge collecting base, I can't think of a successful line of 3.75s right now. The Joe market has been relatively dead for over a decade, and Sigma Six has done a great deal to revitalize the franchise. It's a shame that some people can't adapt.
