I worked for Countrywide and knew it was coming sometime either before or after Bank of America finish buying them but I really was hoping we would make it through this month.. Talk about wonderful timing. Anyway hopefully I won't have to sell any of my collection if I find something pretty quick.. wish me luck.

Ouch, that's rough mate. Good luck on finding a job (and I mean that in the sincere way... not the usual sarcastic way).

I feel you. A couple of weeks before I signed on a house and I got laid off. Bummer.

Best of luck in finding a job very soon.

Aww dude! I feel for ya! I live in Detroit and work in the auto industry, so lay offs are hanging over my head a lot lately. But just before your wedding?  Man that sucks! Sorry to hear it and I'll say a prayer for ya to get something else quickly.

This thread would be more fun if you dropped the last word of the title.

Still, that sucks. Good luck with the hunt.

I feel sorry for you man. i can empathise with you b'coz the exact same thing happened to me. i was so desperate to look for a job it was almost anything goes (i.e janitor, fastfood worker) i had to pretend to my future in-laws dat i wasn't unemployed.

Good luck in finding a new job & at this stage if you see anything just grab it. don't be too choosy abt it. at least it will tide you over for the time being (while you still look for a proper job).
