I am really bad with computers and would like some help. I have a MacBook Pro and want to take a photo from iPhoto and put it into my Sig section. Is there a way I can do that? Any help would be appreciated.

Upload the photo to a site such as tinypic or photobucket, then take the direct URL of the image and put it in your sigbox. Add [*IMG] before the start of the URL and [*/IMG] after the end of it. Remove the asterisks and save.

Sorry, see I'm so bad with computers, I just through their questions any old place. No I haven't tried anything yet. I was just wondering if you were able to take them off your comp or not. Looks like not. I have a snapfish act. does that count?

What do you mean take off computer? Do you mean uploading the photo from your computer to the internet?

p13...you can upload a pic you have on your computer to a photo sharing site, such as photobucket ( it's one of the links I gave you) then you can copy the url link from pb or other site to your [ img ] [ /img ] in your CP here. That should work if you can follow that... we also have a thread for requesting a custom sig if you can't upload one from your PC.
You may want to do that, as it may be easier for you in the long run.

Photobucket even has the option of hovering your mouse over a picture, and below or above it will appear a bunch of different links, and if you click on the IMG one, it copies it with the IMG codes already on it, so all you have to do is paste the link.

Good to know, but I had the impression P13 didn't have a lot of PC/photo images knowledge or anything on pb anyway, so I was just trying to keep it simple.

Thanks. I would have asked my husband, but then he would have gotten all grumpy about how he doesn't know how a Mac works. He's a PC guy.

To all who may have wondered, I figured it out. Photo Bucket was so simple especially with their handy placement of the img for you. Thank you for all the help. :D
