Feel the same way. I look back on CW and POTP and I get tempted to get some of the figures I missed but then I pick up a Seige figure and say forget about it.

Though I have to say getting all the fembots is tempting....

 

when ollies discounted tr i thought i would enjoy them but the articulation is so lackluster, i'm really the majority of siege figures have ankle tilts

 

Not sure I dig the mold, but man do I dig these colors.

Dazlestrike is such a joke. At least make him a different color from the last use of the mold. Honestly I would have rather the price been $10 cheaper without the battlemaster that nobody cares about.

Not sure how black-and-green "dazzles" (or even dazels), but the real problem is that the previous use of the mold used colors that in no way resemble Lionizer.

Well Ill be damed, I didnt even know Lionizer was a G1 character. Granted, action masters came out after I stopped collecting G1 toys. It sould have been black and orange.

 

You don’t need to buy Lionizer if you intend to buy Greenlight.

 

I would still like an actual Lionizer color scheme. Makes me think the Siege toy and color scheme came first with the name coming last.

Or I wonder if the current team think they are making up completely new names, unaware they have been used thirty years ago in an obscure toy.

 

still in amazement that within a year we are finally going to have the complete sunbow g1 female autobot team even greenlight and lancer, Its like 30 some years too late for me but wow just wow. I wanted these girls so bad back in the day. I must have been around 7-9 years old when the ep aired and I can remember one day When I first saw Kup and Blurr on the shelves of a k-mart I thought they had made them ! I was so happy and then I turned over the box and read the tech spec and it used Male Pronouns and I was dissapointed ( as I had not seen the movie yet )

Anway Ill buy 5 of her like I do all of the g1 sunbow girls so I can pass a complete team of them down to my kids and then my grandkids someday. I might even buy a set for me to display . Put them with my Titanium Saints Alpha Trion figure.

With Greenlight and Lancer finally being made I wonder how far away we are from a retail version that is more cartoon accurate; DEVCON, ALicons, Quintessons.

I cant think of any other obscure character really from the G1 cartoon that was a transformers except maybe Seasprays female fleshy turned robot and back to fleshy that I might want.

Thank you Hasbro. even if its 30 some years too late for me, at least my daughter and son and my future Grandkids can have it

 

I wish I liked this base mold and design, because Hasbro is apparently going to reuse it more than the classics seeker mold. I think the fembots deserve better than to be 90% backpack.

 

Its part of the set to raise the price.

 

Could be that the name itself is the homage plus the fact its a lion. Similar to Bayverse homages.

 

I doubt we're going to get 31 reuses of the design. I get the feeling it'll be retired after these figures because the female Autobots will then all be represented.
