Im debating on which version of the mold to get. I like Dead End's Color scheme the best, but I'm not sure about the bot mode. Which brings me to getting Sideways, but I'm not sure which version to get. I like the darker metal tone Sideways more but the silver one is more accurate to the game and movie. Also, I might pass him just because he's not a pure Audi. What do you guys think?

 

I chose the lighter colored Sideways for the reason you mentioned. And I don't really like the bot mode of Dead End as much, so it was easy for me.

 

My order of preference:

(1) Dead End
(2) "Silver" Sideways
(3) "Charcoal" Sideways

 

Get Dark Sideways.

 

Well, I'm not a fan of the Dead End repaint, but I can tell you I have both Sideways variants....of which the darker version I got only recently ;

and as I was somewhat underwhelmed by the light silver version (also due to the fact the rear right wheel didn't roll well), the darker version has pleasantly surprised me.

So, yeah, I recommend the darker Sideways.

 

Dead End. He has the paint scheme, and the best head sculpt.

 

I think paint on Deadend's alt mode is the best. I dont like the head, but its still pretty cool. a close second is the dark Sideways.

 

Deadend has the best paint job i think. And a nicer head mold also.

 

I'm personally not a fan of the head sculpt on Deadend. I think the bloky head looks out of place on the lanky Sideways body. The head looks like it'd be more at home on a more burly bot of some kind.

But that's just me.

IMO get Dead-End AND the light coloured Sideways. Great mould...though I wish the feet weren't so tiny.

 

I've got all 3, Dead End looks the most impressive in person.

Got the lighter Sideways myself. Actually, I wasn't going to get him at all and just get Dead End. But the game sold me on him. So I got both and decided to paint Sideways' red parts in steel. (he looks TONS better this way) Never liked the darker Sideways, so it was a given which I was going to pick up when I finally decided to go for it.

Just wish I'd come to that conclusion when Target had their "three at 15% off" sale. Only bought two at -10% that time. (which still wasn't bad)

Anyway, I would almost recommend Sideways if you think you'd take the time to paint the red. Otherwise Dead End is really a good choice figure, especially with the car paint scheme.

 

I think I'm going to have to go with this due to what everyone has said.

My wallet is going to hurt, but thank you all for your replies.
