    Hi there!
I won an ebay auction for an Armada Sideways' variant. You know, the one with the heads activating the wrong symbol.
The picture clarly showed the gray minicon having red detail, which should indicate the variant version.
I asked the seller if the pic was of the actual item, and the said yes. He also gave me a price for the international shipping.
    then, I won the auction.

If I receive a sideways whose gray minicon has purple shins, can I officially protest??

This is the picture, that should be the actual item itself:

Unless we see the auction, we can't say if there's a case or not.

For example, a guy here asked if a Mail away G1 Megs was worth $500. I said "no" because on my monitor it appeared YELLOW like someone pissed on it and let it dry. Megs itself was the only thing discolored on my screen. Everyone else called me crazy because to them it showed up as a nice chrome-silver.

So how do we know rikkomba didn't see it as red, when in reality it was purple? I'm not trying to call him a liar, but without seeing the auction, there isn't anytihng to determine who's at fault.

good point well made.. I suppose the only way to be certain would have to been to actually ask the seller the colour... shall see the pic if the auction link gets posted :)

I posted the pic of that auction.
I asked my GF, and she says it's orange or red, so at least I am not mad :-D
The seller never said "yeah, it's red" but he said "the picture is from the item itself". I wanted to buy one from seller PLAYDIA, for example, but he never replies to this question :-(

Looks red to me. I don't see how it could be disputed unless the seller voluntarily refunds the money, though. (Paypal and ebay don't allow pics, do they?)

I found the auction in the completed listings... If you do end up with the variant, it was a steal.

Oh, no! How did you understand how I was? :confused2

looks red to me too - as far as I know you can upload and link pics in a paypal dispute - if you've never disputed - its basically a logged discussion with the seller .. and then paypal decide on things if neither party can agree have done so when someone auctioned me a "mint" car stereo which was far from it ... can easy post pics if needs be - but if thats the pic of the actual item ... then here's hoping..save the auction and then fingers crossed thats how it arrives :)

why, why do I have the feeling that I'll receive a MOSC NORMAL Sideways and that the seller will tell me "the auction was for sideways, I don't know what you are talkin' about"?? :-(
