I dunno, with a couple of months under its belt, for one or two figures to be the only ones left on the shelf (or in this case, filling the pegs) kinda says something.

 

I saw no Sideswipes. I might have picked him up if I saw him just because I liked him in the movie.

But I was never big on the Sideways figure to begin with. Mainly because of how the head fits onto the hood in robot mode.

I have to say I was disappointed in the film that he got killed so quickly, since he was featured in the trailers. My friend didn't even remember him turning into a robot. So I can see why he's not picked up.

But it was just weird to see a whole wall, with maybe 5 by 8 rows of pegs, with ALL Sideways. I checked, hoping to see something else, but nope.

Could just be the Targets here in Atlanta though. I've never had much luck with finding what I want in them. Same with Toys R Us. But go to Wal-mart and bam... they are loaded.

They had the large Optimus and Megatron though, which was cool. And I came soooo close to grabbing Ransack. urg. But I'm really broke right now. I had to put him back up on the shelf. It was painful lol

 

Ah but the big promotional material for it is just a few weeks old

 

Same here but I'm down in Australia, I walked into K-Mart and was confronted by a wall of Rampages and Breakaways lol. There was 1 Sideways left and absolutely no Soundwave or Sideswipe.

 

same here in colorado. I went to a target, and there was a TF side section that was nothing but sideways.

 

I'm not all that surprised, you know. These are the less cool designed TFs of the toyline.. I like Sideways' car mode, but the robot mode just isn't nice IMO. =S Even in my area Sideways is a shelfwarmer..

 

Yeah went into Target earlier today - Sideways is shelf warming here something fierce. Rampage too, to a lesser extent.

I only found one Mudflap, Breakaway, and Ravage when I was rifling through.

Well, there's some disagreement here, but it seems like there's one conclusion we can draw; people LOVE Skids! Is he shortpacked, or just really popular? Because I've never heard of a single place that has him in abundance...

 

Where I am, the shelfwarmers are mainly Demolisher, the Scouts, the FABs, the Legends, and Leader Megatron.

 

I don't think he is shortpacked my local Walmart has a few in stock. between 5 to 10 left I'd say. Rampage and Sideswipe are the same here. The only deluxes that are left on the TRU wall display at the front of the store are those 2 about 10 to 15 of each. Demolishor too.

 

Sideways is definitely a significant shelfwarmer in my area, as well. Before the movie came out, Sideways and Sideswipe sold at roughly equal numbers, but now Sideswipe is impossible to find and every store (especially Targets, for some reason) has loads of Sideways figures.

 

Yup, with wheelie to keep him company. Atleast around here.

His not really a shelf warmer here in NC. Soundwave is though. A whole endcap ful of those satellites!

Yeah my brother and I went to Walmart today and I saw the same thing. Almost all of them were Sideways and Rampage. Which is kind of a shame because personally, I think Sideways looks like a great figure. I just don't have any money to buy any new figures as of yet.
