Glued the bumper sections to Sideswipe's hood, but this leads to two other

    things:

Is there an exact match for his color scheme? Tamiya Silver Chrome is coming out too sparkly.

What do i use to fill the gaps between the front section and the rest of the hood?

    Thanks

um, I'm GUESSING since you mentioned silver that you mean ROTF sideswipe? (please specify there are a lot of Sideswipes out there). You're not going to find a perfect paint match except by mixing your own.

If you decide to use stock paints,
they come with their own advantages too.
That means if you run out,
    you can buy them again.

You can never get the exact same
    custom mixed paint.

I'm pretty sure Tamiya Flat Aluminum (acrylic) is an incredibly close match to the silver paint Hasbro tends to use.

If you just want to repaint the whole thing, I've heard Tamiya Silver Leaf (the spraycan) isn't "glittery" and goes on pretty easy.

As for filling in the gaps, I guess you could use Milliput or Apoxie Sculpt. Haven't tried either myself, again just echoing what I've read.
