I went to Rite-Aid for a walk with the kids and there was Sideswipe on the shelf. And also there was Bumblebee and Soundwave there too. But then I seen they were all going for 17.99. Is it cool to charge that much? That's almost as much as a voyager class.

Not surprising. A friend of mine found a Universe Sideswipe at a grocery store for $19.99. Pharmacys and Grocery Stores seem to over-price popular/official stuff.

Well, they're not in the business of selling toys. They have to mark 'em up so much to make it worth their time and money to stock them. IOW, they shouldn't be selling toys at all.

In that case neither is Walmart or Target. The difference is pharmacies, grocery stores and other small retailers buy a fraction of the toys the mega chains do and thus pay more for them than Walmart, Target, etc.

The markup is probably a lot less than you think, but I would bet it's more than the mega stores.

    Why not?

Because $20.00 for Universe Sideswipe is insane. Just my opinion.

Grocery Stores shouldn't be selling DVDs either, but they do.

They Do ;)  got most of my stuff there
theyve had every Animated toy and most of the universe stuff there allowed to have i guess lol

i dunno it seems weird that they have a better selection then the walmart or the target down the street...

but i agree i will never purchase a TF toy at a Rite Aid or Walgreens to expensively over priced they are for almost everything sell!!
