I thought I'd start off here by showing off my desk at my day job!

For anyone wondering, the foam hook on the wall of the cubicle is the Internet Pirate hook.

My company provides IT support for General Electric (and a lot of other companies, actually). I work at Appliance Park as an L2 Deskside tech. Basically, if you call in to the help line, and the L1s can't solve the problem, they pass it up to us. Then we resolve it, either over the phone, with remote desktop tools, or in person at the user's desk or office.

The dual-monitor is my primary system. I do all my tickets, warranty parts orders, etc. there. The one off to the side is actually my prior system that I put in a replacement order for (we use the same systems we issue to the GE users and get them through work orders and repair tickets the same way they do) when it started acting up. They ship all our laptops with Vista now, but we don't issue Vista-loaded PCs, so I nabbed a copy to use that replaced one for a testbed and mess with Vista a little. The monitor and such connected to that one are the ones I use for testing and diagnostics as well.

Let's see...the Movie ones I got this year at BotCon (a couple entities were giving them out, including the game demo folks and the Sector 7 trailer). The I Want You poster was given out at...I think BotCon 2005? Little fuzzy on that one.
