in a sense this guy is the ultimate rapist, because he doesn't prey on the soft targets, he goes straight to the top of the food chain. Not to diminish his crimes, but there is something worse in those that target the more vulnerable. On the other hand this guy may pose a threat to a wider segment of the population. Maybe he'll rape anything.
^This is the funniest thing I've read all day. The article, however, is not. I can't help but suspect this guy just wanted to go to jail for some reason. Unless he's absolutely crazy, it would be the only reason he'd want to try to rape a cop.
This is not the worst thing I've read lately. I read a story on CNN yesterday about a Maine woman being sentenced to jail for performing sex acts on her child on a video chat for the benefit of a 19-year old pedophile in England. After fighting down the nausea, I tried to imagine a fitting punishment for a mother who could so betray her child. Nothing was violent or sadistic enough. Everyday, it seems like my faith in humanity dies a little.
As I'm reading a story about rape, my computer is fighting off it's version of the same thing. I don't put my faith in humanity. Problem solved. As I read the article I thought jokingly, what next is he going to try to rape the cop? Clearly he's a wee bit unbalanced. Please spread the word that no matter what life tries to throw your way, rape is never the answer. And that's one to grow on. What does he do when he has troubles with his car?

I hear what you're saying FT71... Sadly, if you research the criminal history of any area in any part of the world .. these terrible things have been done for ages.. It's obviously reported more often and imho, many time for shock value reporting..also, many people today have been inundated with so much digusting news the shock value has worn off for some. After a while people become desensitized so the "shock jock reporters" do their best to report something even more vulgar. SMH..at the Mom and child. The guy he raped is pushing 70, and I don't know of too many seventy year olds who can tangle with a 24 year old man and come out with a win. I'd say he did assault someone who, if not helpless, was a soft target. As for the whole question of "rape anything", rape isn't really about sex, it's about power. Rape victims don't have to be sexually attractive for the perpetrators to get their rocks off, they just have to be suceptible.
