damn mike, 29?? lol, i've put all of the junker unicrons in a plastic box, and i think there's around 9 of them, and i thought 9 was a lot, lol. i'm in need of a few more, my supply is down, only 2 left.

and yea, i havnt tried that paint yet, :(  i'm not a big fan of acrylics, but i'm a big fan of spurt reynolds :)

thanks bro, i may try that, i sure wish there was some good hobby stores around these parts. michaels is the only place near me, and i laugh everytime i think about that store.

This is by far the best work area/work shop here! A whole dedicated building to kitbashing! How can you beat that? Awesome!

My work area is pathetic. A lump of wood on my lap, thats it. :(

If I could make furniture for a living I would...but bob's discount furniture would put me out of business so fast.

No more working on a tv table in the living room for me anymore! LOL

No surprise, I moved. I'm in a townehome with my girlfriend and her older brother. And now I get a space in the garage previously used by their mom for sewing (she sold the sewing machine).

Still a WIP in itself, but here's my work desk.

    So that's a desk (I want to say 4' x 4' but I'm not positive)
    shelving
2 storage bins so far, of differing sizes
2 lamps (that one hanging + a desk mounted lamp that's hidden there)
1 mini-fridge (for beers as far as I figure. LOL)
    1 tv for distraction

I should have things tidied up by the end of the week.

I've been in this thread many times, but never posted because i'm too messy and have too much stuff lying around on my workbench i barely have space to work. :D

However, i can now say that it's finally tidy! I'm in no way as professional as you guys are, but at least some shelving. Finally! Now it's organized! Not that it will stay that way for long...

Note: I don't have my airbrush and compressor there EVAR. I just couldn't resist the chance to show it off. ;)  And, quite obviously, i'd have paintbrushes and some water lying around when i'm actually working. Sometimes being addicted to iice cream is useful though. The tubs come in handy. :D

Galvy's just there because i've set aside a shelf to show off the stuff i've completed recently, or just stuff i think is great.

So, this is where A1 Kitbashing starts...

I wish I had all the paints you have. LOL

Tidied up a bit sooner than I was expecting, since I don't have a job to go to anymore. These were taken Wednesday night. I've worked a bit on some stuff and move things around for convenience since, which I'll take a shot of after the weekend.

The drawers go: heads, guns, random small parts, upper bodies, lower bodies, and random large parts.

Leftovers from Unicron and Primus there up top, which'll be painted and displayed as planets. Then the Constructicons/Devastator, Combaticons, Breakdown, and Energon Sharkticon (which is either becoming Scourge a la RodimusDawg or Alpha Trion).

And a bunch of other bots and KOs. Some of them I have ideas for, some no clue. And all those Scouts there on the last pic were moved to the space underneath the Dev & Combaticon bots.

I think it's a bit clear to see what I've got in mind with some of these... maybe too clear. *crazy eye*

    LOL

got this work bench at Northern Tools, same as harbor freight tools..
i think it was 150.00, but u can prolly find 1 for under a 100 bucks
the shop light i picked up at homedepot.
some of the workbenches come with shoplights..
ud think with a workbench ud have alot of space to work...but with all ur crap cluttered around it......u get a small actual workin area.........thats the price u pay for wantin everything at arms lenght.

Hey guys. Rather than take 50 some odd pictures of my work spaces and make a feeble attempt to try and explain everything that lies therein, I decided to make a video and upload it to You Tube for all of your veiwing pleasure. :)

    YouTube - My Workspace

Please enjoy! It may be a little on the long side, but I had a lot of stuff that I wanted to rummage through.

    Cheers, guys. :)

I also keep a TV/VCR for distraction. While Kitbashin' isn't my main thing, many kits have been bashed at this table.

I got y'all beat. I was seriously considering pouring out a hamper of dirty laundry for "effect".
