    Hey all,

To be perfectly honest, I don't believe a thread hasn't been started about these things already!

As far as the toys are concerned, I wish they'd been able to keep the old articulation with the added points. They look great, but the posing just isn't there.

Didn't stop me from takin' a picture of ol' Dashiell R. Fairborn, though (or buyin' him, obviously):

If Hasbro can work out the articulation with this line, it'll have a huge hit on its hands :thumb

Well, my two cents, anyway :D

    Have fun, gang!!!

    What articulation did they lose?

Their elbows, and the joints below the waist (what I've noticed, anyway). I guess I shouldn't say they lost them, but they don't bend the full 90 degrees that the old Real American Hero figures did.

Go here. The ol' general goes pretty in-depth on the subject.

    Have fun!!!

Edit: Bad example as far as elbows are concerned. Duke and Flint can't bend their elbows the full 90 degrees. Everyone else I have (The Cobra set, Cobra Officer, Storm Shadow, and Hooded Cobra Commander) seem to be able to bend their elbows at an acceptable level.

I check out yojoe.com every now and again. apparently there's quite a few fixes out there for the elbow articulation. I'm not too sure what they are, since I only plan to get serpentor out of this line, as all of the figures from the past 5 years work just fine for me.

I got these a couple weeks ago. I have no place to display them, so for now, they are staying in their packages.

Oh, and just curious, are these supposed to be showing up in retail anytime soon? I haven't seen them anywhere.

It's good to know that out of 3 Targets, 2 Wal-Marts, and 2 TRU's that I never saw any on shelves once. These were all from BBTS.

Oh, in addition to the stores I already mention, I frequent several Fred Meyers as well that never had any. Are they being "saturated" yet? Are scalpers nabbing them?
Even when I am not interested in something, I like to know that at least I saw it at a store I go to, so it disheartens me that I am seeing more and more things not show up at stores.

I have yet to see any 25th Joes at any retail here. I got my 5 packs from BBTS a few weeks ago. Just waiting for the singles. I just love the homage by Hasbro incorporating the theme song into the box sets. Very nice touch.
