Hah! I don't. The CG is finally at a point now where it doesn't look like garbage. I'm just getting into BW right now, and I am appalled at how horrible the animation is (yes, yes, I know 1996 - it was OMGBBQ!!), but you look at it now and you can see all the polygons and how badly done some of the terrain looks. However, I'm sticking with it as the storyline is slowly drawing me in. Hrm, I wonder if I can power through almost three seasons of BW before Prime starts up again, hahah I bet I can.

On the plus side, BW was animated in my home city - go Vancouver.

Hurrah though for the return of Prime. And the return of LCDR, welcome back dude. :)

I feel good being welcomed back. It's nice to know people noticed my absence, and my return.

Aside from that, yeah, Prime's beautiful in so many ways, but I feel like CGI doesn't really "fit" humans. Personality is better rendered in cel nearly everywhere I've seen it. Likely is that the animators of these shows don't have to deal with humans as main characters most of the time, so they settle into the believable surrealism of a cartoon character's movement. This disadvantages them when a human is needed, as it needs to depart from the normal style of movement. The surrealism is gone. In many CGI shows, such as Beast Wars, Prime, Back at the Barnyard, the non-humans, in point of fact, move more like humans than the humans do.

Also, those microsaccades. Always looking out for microsaccades, and Prime just makes love to my eyes with its eyes.

Well, the human parts are. Though those are also pretty excessive in their movements.

It's too early for big words. :)  Are you talking about how the eyes of the robots make the tiny movements as they focus or grow wide in shock or narrow in anger?

Yup. It only refers to the tiny movements as the eye refocuses. It's a subtle trait in humans, and when it's animated, I get giddy.

That I agree with. I love watching that in this show. I also love how each Autobot at least, has different eyes. They don't put as much effort into the Decepticon eyes for some reason.

I think of Gambit whenever I see Knock Out because of those eyes.

Also love it how apparent it is whenever Bee's optics focus. And it happens rather frequently.

Steve Blum tweeted this picture last night with the text "Naughty cons at work". But I have no idea who this guy is? I'm admittedly not very informed about voice actors/how they look but if anyone knows.... I figured I'd just ask in here rather than make a new thread for something like this.

I'm going to feel really silly if he's a reg con in the show or something...

Certainly not any of the cast we have right now.

But I have no idea of who that is either.

Um... that says it is following the four-part arc. But yeah, we get to find out what happens to Bulkhead.

    Spoiler:
    He'll probably live.
