In addition to Beast Wars, it sounds like Shout! Factory may be working on the Takara shows as well.

From Shout! Factory's Brian Ward twitter account:

He also says in the Shout! forums in the Transformers Takara Shows thread:

Not enough info to tell if it's a Transformers Japanese show. Could be another series.

I have the region 2 sets already. Unless they are better or have a new, professional English dub, I'll probably pass.

If it is in fact the Japanese G1 shows (Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory) I'll definitely be picking those up as well. Especially Headmaster and Masterforce.

    Masterforce is the best one!

I have the Madman releases. If they actually cleaned up the video and audio, and fixed tracking, it'd be tempting to buy them again.

Oh HELL yes! I'll take all three series, please. Subs are perfectly fine - I don't want a dub bringing any costs up.

So I've been told but I never liked it. For me Transformers are living robots, not humans driving mecha. Ah well, it's been almost 10 years since I watched it, maybe I'm just misremembering.:lol

Would totally buy these if they were made! And while we're on the subject, if they made BW II and BW Neo, I'd pick up both of those too!

I hope they come with the option of original audio with subs or a better dub. Not that crappy Chinese one. Heck, the voice acting doesn't even need to be good. It just has to be proper in the dialog.
