With the sequel coming out next year and hopefully more toys coming should WFC get its own toyline next year?

The are bound to be more characters added on to the first cast for the sequel and they have great designs for all the characters so far

    Discuss :)

no, a single video game is not enough fiction to support a full-on toy line with multiple waves of product

the way they did it in generations is the perfect way to do it

As soon as the sequel comes out, yes. Without a doubt, yes.

Look at Halo, even though it's got six games and other stuff, ignore that, after two or three games it started to get toys, and seen as the games coming from a toy company, plus, Hasbro will need something to focus on when DOTM dies out.

idk; i am perfectly ok with it having a few toys in the generations line, or maybe shove them in the prime line?

Hell yes. And i wouldn't want to see just Deluxes in the line, i would like to see Voyager, Leader, and Supreme. Supreme class for Omega Supreme and Trypticon.

I'd love WFC to have a toy line! It would be cool to display WFC and Classics figures next to one another!

Will it happen? I dunno.... I'd just like the seekers and Shockwave please:D

I'd like one... or at least keep sprinkling a few into whatever current "classics" line is out.

Why the heck are you using Prime as an example? That's a full fledged TV show that's so far only aired its first five episodes. Don't tell me you actually thought those five episodes were all we're getting of Prime.

I'm with Guard Convoy: the way they're doing it with Generations is fine.

The movies only have a limited cast of robots yet they filled out the movie line by adding robots that were never in the film. So even though the number of robots in War for Cybertron might be limited there are still a ton of past characters that could be tapped for an update in that style.

Between the new look in Transformers Prime and the new look in the War for Cybertron games that would be a good reason for me to have about three copies of every character since I'd need their Classics, Prime and WfC figures.

Plus I agree it gives Hasbro something after the Dark of the Moon toys die down.

Should it, yes, will it, unfortunately no. A video game or two isn't enough to support an entire toy line. But I will buy one of each mold from the WFC universe if they are released in any way. All of the designs are great.

Yes, it should, and hopefully it does when WFC 2 comes along.

Meh, don't really see a need, they fit in nicely with the current Generations toyline well, although a Leader Class Trypticon and Voyager Shockwave would be awesome!

    *Hint, Hint Hasbro.* :p

Eh, I don't think a video game or two is enough media exposure to warrant it's own separate toyline (whoever used Halo as a comparison is either horribly underestimating Halo's popularity or horribly overestimating WfC's popularity). It's fine as it is within Generations.

It'll probably be just new additions to the generations line - or whatever it evolves into in the coming year or so.

I'd be happy with a WFC ironhide and air raid :)
