Given the amount of threads posted daily about the classics/henkei/universe/united/generations/reveal the shield lines and the various related topics, would it not be better/easier to have all of this info complied in it's own subcategory on this site's "boards" category?

Nah. Classics are toys. Prime is a show that's gonna have toys as well as the movie.

How are "No." and "What's the point?" separate and different options?

Anyway, no. Classic-styled figures fit in with the TF Toy Discussion. Everything else gets a section because of the accompanying media.

Yes, there's many threads about Classics-themed stuff. But the vast majority of those threads are "Who needs to be made next?" subjects. Having all of them confined to one forum would just make it more apparent (and embarrassing)

Honestly, if new boards were made based on "flavor of the month" popularity of a particular line/subject, then shit, there should be a Fansproject board as well. And then have seperate threads named, "Official demand for Fansproject to rerelease __________" with the name of everything they've ever released filled in and stickied.

So nah. I can see where OP's coming from, but it's not worthwhile long-term.

We already have Toy Discussion. No need to make another board section for a series of toys.

I say no -- but the idea of a bit more order within the toy discussion and some regular threads for rumors, store discussions, individual figures, and line in general discussion would be great to focus discussion.

A sub forum would be nice. Like WFC has one in the Video Game forum.

The thing that would be nice is for those of us who are only following that line right now, a subforum would make life easier and save us the sorting through threads about stuff we don't collect.

I don't see the need for a separate section.

The thread duplication on Classics related subjects is excessive.

How many wishlists do we need?

Something more cohesive would make a it a lot easier for Hasbro to keep track as well.

Absolutely not. Classics (in all its forms) will come and go, just like any other TF toy line. It's not big enough to warrant its own forum.
Besides, most of the classics style figures are spread across lots of different lines (Classics, Universe, Generations RTS, etc...) which also include non-classics style figures. You'd have so many arguments about whether figure A should be discussed in that forum or if figure B has the correct aesthetic, it would only lead to trouble.

Keep all the toy discussion on one place I say. :2c:

I don't see the point. This forum is already mostly Classics and Generations discussion anyway.

You know... having a section or thread that kept up with all 3rd party releases would be a great idea... sometimes I just can't keep up with all these projects. Lol.

having a section on just classics/generations would just mean that we have a few type of threads swapped there:

    1. "I am so mad that Hasbro didn't make x y z yet"
    2. "Possible repaints"
    3. "What would you like to see in classics that haven't done yet"
    4. "Is Springer gonna be made?"

So why don't we just make a section called "spam"?

Totally agree. I don't get why so many people eveidently don't do a search before creating a new thread, heck even just browse the first 2 or 3 pages in the forum as we seem to get so many duplicate threads made by different posters.
