For those who don't know, the Neo knights we're basically a super hero team formed to protect Humanity from the menace of Transformers. They only appeared in the later issues of the Original Marvel comic line, so they never really got anywhere.

Even thought they are a little odd to have in Transformers, I think something could be done with them in the recent comics.

Aren't they owned by Marvel? Pretty sure they are.

    Yes, they are.

I really wish Circuit Breaker was a Hasbro property that could be used in any Transformer continuity. I think there is a lot of potential in the character, and it's good to give the Transformers someone else to fight sometimes. She could have been great in a movie or Prime. I understand why Hasbro wouldn't bother buying her from Marvel, though... They would have a hard time marketing the toy. I wish G.B. Blackrock was used more too.

As for the rest of he group, I thought they were cool when first introduced, but really out of place. The only other super-powered human in the series up to that point was Spider-Man. I don't really have any interest in seeing them in newer stuff.

The only one I liked was Circuit Breaker. She's the only one I'd like to see Transformers use.
And GB, if you class him as a Neo Knight.

Just because they aren't doesn't mean anyone can use them.

Never really liked the Neo Knights. Just seemed Marvel wanted to shove some super heroes into a non-superhero book. They really didn't do anything special.

Still think Marvel should being back Circuit Breaker into the modern Marvel Universe. Maybe as an Iron Man villian. Redo her origin not related to TFs but could still call back to the TF origin. She is working at Stark Tech when some villian attacks, Iron Man fights the villian but she gets fried in the process. Paralyzed, she creates the suit and blames Stark for her injury. Then goes on a anti-Iron Man rampage.

I would like Circuit Breaker to come back. It is mutant thing that Marvel did most of Neo Knights are mutants the concept is still Marvel. They are fringe part of X-Men which bread and butter to Marvel.

I would not mind Circuit Breaker or GB comes back. IDW can create something new based off the Knight premise that does not refer to Mutants.

Oh dear goodness no. Not as superhero mutants anyway. The earth defence force is more than enough human opposition, without bringing superheroes into the mix too.

    Fuck no!

Super-powered humans are always a bad idea in transformers fiction. If we're going to have humans then tanks, trucks, copters and mecha-suits are the way to go when battling the Cybrtronians.

Leave the super-powered bullshit to the big 2.

People would have said the same thing about Swerve and Tailgate before MTMTE was written.

    Meh.

Marvel owns them anyways, Marvel probably should bring them back.

IIRC Furman invented the Neo Knights in the vain hope that they would eventually have their own comic. Understandably, Marvel decided not to pursue that idea.

Circuit Breaker was a great idea in principle, but in the comics themselves she was really stupid. How thick was she, not to realise there were two different factions?

Okay she hates robots, I get it. But the evidence was clear that some of the robots were good, she just refused to believe it. And she was supposed to be a genius!!!

It's the equivalent of me getting attacked by a guy from Minnesota, and then going on a revenge mission, killing all Minnesotans who got in my way. See how crazy that sounds?

If done well, a decent human character can liven up Transformers no end. But done badly, they can be a real drag.
