should they put back in mincrons back in the show?
after all japan toys have it!
What are 'mincrons'?
Eh, maybe one or two. I wouldn't want them to overtake the main plot but they were one of the templates for TFs so there should be a lot of them.
If they ever include Rumble they could just say he's a mini-con and add one or two more and I'd be fine.
Little Unicrons, duh.
I don't see a use for the Minicons. The characters have weapons that grow out of their body, why have a little twerp that turns into a weapon?
They could have them do something else though. Perhaps they'd be used as spies or they're more fuel efficient or something.
Also I belief Minicron is the OP fusing together the words Minicon and Micron.
Oh no, it's Pokeformers again. Even more Macguffins and annoying little personalities!
Are you for real? They're not just little Unicrons. They're obviously little Unicrons that explode, like MINES.
But seriously, it depends on how they do them. These TFP characters don't really seem to need power upgrades by plugging a tiny Transformer into your arm or chest. If they had just a small faction of Transformers that were literally small, like Wheelie, Brains, Cybertron Jolt, whatever and a few others and had them on the show, I'd be okay with that. "Minicons", but not in the sense that Armada had them.
I can just imagine how cute they would be... As cute as scraplets
Maybe. It would increase our chances of getting them as toys over here.
The way they show up is that they are tiny Transformers that Ratchet built as scouts to help him locate deposits of Energon, artifacts, etc. When they are not doing this, they can be used as weaponry.
The Decepticons get a hold of this technology, and manufacture Microns for themselves.
Sure, why not? It could help in getting them over here and they could be some of the Artifacts scattered on Earth.
Maybe as a one-shot plotline--like, maybe just the Star Saber team or something--but not as a recurring element or anything like that.
You know, the Star Saber thing might not be a half-bad idea. The 'Bots/'Cons go out in search of a weapon and instead find three little robots that can't speak and can't decide what to do with them, completely oblivious to the fact that the robots turn into the weapon...
Should the characters have stickers instead of detail on their models too?
"Autobots, apply stickers and roll out!"
I'm kind of enjoying the lack of gimmick in Prime.... But if they could find a way to do it well and without doing it in a gimmicky way I guess I could deal... But if it began to take over the entire series I think i'd be a little taken back and disappointed.
Maybe one micron? And it would be nice if it were able to tie into a main plotline in Prime or be relevant somehow. So not just another filler episode. (Don't even start McFeely.)
Micron functioning voice box for bumblebee. I actually like microns as long as they're not super cute. Those evil animal looking decepticon microns would be welcome from me in the show. Then you have the problem of...will megatron go with his normal blaster, or use the gorilla?
in victory - autobots got minicons unite in into giant robot name landcross
landcross be good in tf prime
I'd like to see them more as allies not like the minicons (where you had to collect them....all) . Kind of like the relics are now? Or a sub plot would be cool too.
I'd prefer if they didn't.
We asked this at CybertronCon. Jeff said a big fat no - they'd be too expensive to CGI up and animate just for a toy gimmick. Better to spend that effort introducing a new character.
I kinda agree with him. They already seem so stingy with new CGI models. Each new one better count.
