Should Hasbro give more Transformers antique alt modes?

One of the main draws for me when it comes to deciding which toys to get is the alt mode. I love sleek concept alts like the Bumblebee camaro or the Sideswipe stingray, but some of my favorite figures are those with older alt modes, or antique forms.

Figures like movie Ransack or Highbrow or Bludgeon. I am saving my money in hopes of one day getting the Knight Morpher Cyclops and, one hopes, the Bumblebee figure they keep saying they will make.

What about you guys...would you like to see Hasbro do more antique alt modes? See some World War I and II vehicles? Get an Autobot Hippie van from the seventies? A Decepticon done up as a gangland chicago era towncar? Or even go further back and have a massive pirate ship turn into an unruly robo-pirate?

I want some "classics" Laser Rods. I loved the laser rods when I was a kid. My Electro is still mostly intact, but has definitely started to crumble.

They should give us steamboats, blimps, WWI-style tanks.

I'd love it, but I doubt the kids would. I don't know a single 6-year-olds that knows what a zeppelin is.

I consider RTS Lugnut more Antique alt mode since hes a WW2 Bomber type.

Edit: Oh and HFTD Hubcap and Generations Kup could be considered too.

I wouldn't mind a few more, especially if they are more planes.

Well, considering that most of my favorite vehicles are a lot older than I am (I love pretty much anything 50's an older), I'd have no problem with it.

In other words, here's to KOtoys going with a classic look for their their potential upcoming Hot Rod reshell.

Eh, I'll pass on more "antique" transformers...they don't really make any sense as alt modes, IMO, and, with few exceptions, I'm not too fond of the majority that we've gotten thusfar...I'd much prefer they release more futuristic alt modes instead. Although... a Transformers series where they awaken in the 30's, 40's, 50's, or 60's instead of 80's does seem oddly intriguing to me...at least that way they could explain away vintage alt modes. Of course, the odds of that ever happening are slim to none.

Tell you all the truth, I already started to design a WW1 British Mark V tank in CAD, based on Don Fig's Grimlock.

I haven't gotten very far with it, tho.
