I honestly go for it if they are able to do it!  I mean the Decepticons DO need more hevy brawlers other then Breakdown because the regualr Vehicons aren't exactly Hulk Hogans when it comes to hand to hand combat! 

 

A tank drone type would be cool, and help flesh out the types of drones the cons have. They've got quick, fast hitting cars (that can't really take a punch), and the standard generic jet (that isn't a Seeker this time, although just as durable as the cars). I'd like to see a drone that could actually take a few hits, and the tank drone fits the bill. They could be like sub-commanders or something.

Well, yeah, but there's like a gazillion of them and they're generic cannon fodder. It's their job to die so the Autobots can actually "kill" Decepticons without sacrificing any of the big named Decepticons (although considering the track record with Skyquake and Makeshift...) in little fights.

 

There should just be a Vehicon of every single type of alt mode.

 

Cybertron tanks, perhaps as a nod to the BM era Vehicon tank drones, but more powerful and cooler looking.

I understand that complaety really! It's a great way of showing combat and killings of an army without getting rid of the big names. That's a brillent idea. I was just saying how it may help the decepticons even more if they have more heavy hitters in the army then just regular Vehicon troopers.

 

If they do they should also bring in Brutes from WFC and the Heavy weapons unit.

 

Agreed. Give us Tank Vehicons, give us Truck Vehicons, give us Boat Vehicons, give us Motorcycle Vehicons, give us Submarine Vehicons, give us Helicopter Vehicons, give us Minivan Vehicons, give us Pogo Stick Vehicons...

 

Yes, but they should be kind of like lieutenants or officers, and not like grunts that are all over the place.

 

I say bring on tanks, and garbage trucks, and ice cream trucks for that matter, and/or any other vehicle that makes sense from a story perspective. The writers seem to know what they're doing, so I say we leave them to it.

 

Not on Earth. Same reason there isn't Dinobots, tanks don't fit in with the whole robots in disguise feel of it. If you see a car drive past you or a plane fly overhead, its no big deal. If you see a tank rolling down the street, something is usually wrong, and it just draws too much attention.

 

Guess Starscream forgot to inform Megatron about that.

Really, a tank fits alot more into the robots in disguise idea than his vehicle mode does.

Maybe. They would have to feel like a special heavy weapons unit that's separate from the current Vehicons, given between the ones we do have all seem to share a fairly similar visual uniform.

Basically I'd want to see them kind of have their own uniform style, rather then just be a bulked up version of the normal Vehicon guys. Maybe throw in a bit of a BM Tankor visual homage to their design.

 

This. It would be awesome if they brought in a tank vehicon because it's not just a normal one. There has to be strategy to take it out, not blindly smashing vehicons and hoping they break eventually.

Yes. And as Earth tanks. The more variety the better. It would be cool to see them use groups with all three worriers all with different colours, instead of using groups of one type with only one colour. It would help get across that their individuals that the animator don't have the time to give individual bodies to and not drones.
