Should there be a toyline named Generation 3?

    I can't see how the modern figures, or at least a great many of them, could be branded 'Generation 3' when there are so many Generation 1 characters included in them, plus the odd Generation 2 character for good measure.

    Leave as it is I say.

    Meh. I'd rather leave numbers out of toyline titles altogether. Especially when dealing with the inconsistencies and confusion of what contitutes a "generation". Beast Wars is still part of G1, just call anything dealing with Beast Wars "Beast Wars".

    I dont see the need for the numbered generations anymore either. Afterall g2 started out as crazy repaints of g1 to try and expand the market and g1 was named retroactively. As for the CHUUGRts i just call them collectively classics since the aesthetic cues were originally from the first classics line.

    The Classics line(s) is simply G1 if they had been knocked out for 4,000,025 years rather than 4Mil. It's still G1 to me.
