Maybe. I doubt it though, because don't they still need to transform? And if they only have preset transformation choices, It'd be awkward having shoulder spikes of doom disappearing into a sleek car mode...

That would be difficult, considering the whole transformation aspect. I would not be dissapointed if it had one, but it's not a selling point.

Who cares? I'll play the game no matter what character features there are.

it could be an interesting feature, but one that would be a nightmare to implement, especially once multiplayer is considered.

Maybe they could add in something to allow you to choose the color scheme for your player model though, and then have unlockable colourschemes or DLC paint packs.

I don't know anyone who'd pay for a different color scheme, especially if they allow you to change their color...Most would pay for a completely different model, which they would then go on to change it's color.

No. Create a characters only really work in MMO's or single player games. But I'd play it anyway.

I always find those kind of "Create a Character" features laking. Only having so many options to "mix and match" from and create a character always seemed boring.

Plus, with things as complex as Transformers, it is much more complicated than just "mixing and matching" to create one.

While it would be nice, especialy if there were DLC packs that would allow you to expand upon alt. modes, robot body styles, and even heads, that does not sound like something feasible in WfC.

Although it would be totally awesome if I could recreate my custom Autobot Burnout (silver Movie Camshaft repaint w/ custom racing decals) in something close to how he looks in real life and own Decepticons with him.

    No.

Games with that give you the ability to create your own character never look good—I'm talking about games that let you build body-type, parts, color, accessories, etc. How do you balance a game in which you let someone do what you didn’t account for?

Soul Calibur IV had great characters on its own, but the ones that were user created looked inferior in comparison. Would the user also be able to edit abilities and transformation, too--transformation may be a bit too difficult to edit for obvious reason :p

This sounds like a designers nightmare and for that reason, I don't see it ever happening to that extent. Total user freedom could never work, but if it create your own character was simply choosing pre-set forms only (bodies/and alternate modes—clones, really—with head swaps and/color color adjust applications) then, sure, I could picture that, but where's in that? :'(

Everyone here would want to create their own dream-child and that's not possible without totally imbalancing the game and, well, f'ing it up.

EDIT: Transforming makes this a big impossible.
