None of the combining Wreckers feature their usual color scheme. Except maybe Roadbuster.

I want the Club to repaint the five Wrecker toys in their usual color scheme.

    Impactor in purple.
    Roadbuster in brown.
    Whirl in light blue
    Topspin in blue
    Twin Twist in white.

That would be a great set IMO. Perhaps have a "Wreckers vs. Squadron X" theme for Botcon 2014.

I'd prefer that they don't, actually. The molds don't really fit of the characters, imo.

I agree with this. I'd rather wait for Hasbro to give us new molds than pay $250 for another Bruticus repaint.

I'm quite sure those toys are going to be a future Botcon boxset. However, I think they'll more likely be done as the RID Combatrons, sporting either the arctic camo or desert camo color schemes.

Nope, I like the heavy Commandos influence.

Will the club even get these figures? I imagine their rights are tied up with the game somehow..

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know what's going on with the FOC Wreckers' weapons? In bot mod each of them is holding what looks like a repurposed MechTech weapon, but the vehicle mode pictures and the Ruination picture have recolours of the Combaticon's weapons.

They are early promo shots so they likely just photoshopped the original Brut's vehicle modes. They did the same with FoC Fireflight (he has SHockwave's weapon in vehicle mode and a blade in bot mode)

I'd prefer to get real Wreckers figures, someday. Rather than these hand-me-downs.

Lol no, Fireflight (I don't care if he is being renamed to Air Raid, Fireflight makes more sense with the deco) blatantly has his sword in the alt-form.

I'm not so sure on the Wreckers, either. Look at Twin Twist, the Brawl gun on his turret is still on his back in proto-form.

    NO.

That would be ridiculously expensive. I'd rather have it be a TRU exclusive or Costco exclusive all done up all correctly.

I still don't get why they screwed up the deco schemes?

I'd like to see the Combaticons repainted with a mix of weapons from the Wreckers as RID Ruination, and then include FOC Optimus as Scourge and bam! Instant boxed set. Heck, since new heads likely won't be needed, include weapons from both the Combaticons and the Wreckers.

I'm happy to get the original team of Wreckers in toy form. Not all characters are going to get new molds even if they deserve them. Most don't even get new heads even if they really deserve them.

If they were going to release them in their proper color scheme at all for retail, they would have done so the first time round. Hasbro has stated that they didn't want to release a purple Autobot and I presume Hasbro wanted to do a homage to the RiD Commandos more than they wanted to release the Wreckers. Possibly they recharacterised the toys as Wreckers for the fan appeal and so they weren't using the Combaticons' heads a fourth time.

At this point, if we do want the Wreckers in proper colors, they will only be a Club or Botcon exclusive. Perhaps they could just release a purple Impactor on its own instead of the whole set.

Maybe the recolored Combaticon weapons are going to be included along with the new weapons.

On topic, no. I'm okay with their color schemes (Except Topspin and Twin Twist). Besides, why would we buy properly-colored Wreckers that may cost like $300+ or something when we can get them for like $70-100?

I'd rather they not. That'd take away the incentive for Hasbro to actually give Impactor/Roadbuster/Whirl/Topspin/Twintwist toys that aren't total ill-fitting headslaps.

I'd rather see the Wreckers get new moulds, and a Battle Gaia or Baldigus repaint for Bruticus.

Yeah, given the Third Party pieces that are coming out, [hopefully] the money folks could invest in a TFCC effort could be better spent elsewhere. And I don't care what your personal feelings about 3rd Parties are, it doesn't change the fact that they're making better looking versions of Impactor, Topspin, Twin Twist and Broadside.

But the mechtech weapons are just solid blocks of plastic anyway.
It would be nice to get all the weapons. But I'm fine if we just get the new tooled wrecker themed ones. Since those parts and the Six new heads separate it from Bruticus.

Very Psyched to get some new wreckers toys. Impactors finally getting some credit in the toy line.
