No, I'd rather that the trailer is either used for transport OR that it transforms into a battle station like it did in G1.

 

I'd like it if the trailer was a Powermaster-style upgrade, maybe even have him get a giant gun as part of the transformation.

 

I think it would be awesome if they had prime taking out a swarm of decepticons with a cybertronian Gatling gun from the trailer battle station.

 

Ps and have wheel Jack to be the one to create it.

 

I'd like it to transform into an upgrade for Prime. Mostly becouse i'd love a toy of a movieverse powermaster Prime.

 

The original trailer transformed into a battle station. I don't see how that would work in the movie.

G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime combined with his trailer into a super mode.

I would absolutely be in favour of Prime combining with trailer. I don't see the point of it otherwise.

The only reservation I'd have is that I haven't liked any of the concept art I've seen for this.

 

since ironhide is not in the chase sequence, maybe its to hide ironhide or something as a surprise attack. Possibly carry the XLR or SUV cadillac along with ironhide if one of them turns out to be a new autobot

 

I'd like to see him combine with it, mainly because if the combined mode looks similar to the Jetimus Prime mode from ROTF, it would suggest Jetfire's sacrifice was not in vain, and they didn't just throw his parts out after the Fallen's defeat. He actually did become a part of Optimus Prime.

But that's all just riding on a theory.

 

I said yes only because people will complain/say it's confusing if his trailer disappears and reappers every time he transforms like in G1

 

if he transforms with trailer then i think the toy designers will have some difficults making a toy of him.

Considering it might be made from jeftfire parts if it does combine, I'd say no it doesn't transform with him. But may come into play when he really needs it.

Who knows though with this new writer, I'm expecting some power master prime nods though.

 

I'll be VERY surprised if that trailer does not end up as some sort of combination armor.
Do I want to see that? Yeah I'm down with it. As long as he doesn't use it all the time.

Well, since he already learned the advantages of Super modes in ROTF, I would say that yes: he can combine with his trailer. ^^

 

I hate "super-modes" of any kind, particularly for Optimus Prime (who shouldn't need it), so I vote no. I thought merging with Jetfire was bad and this would be no different.
